I'm so excited!! I found the top of my desk yesterday!!! I suspected that it was there all along, but haven't had/made time to look for it. It's brown, and interestingly, has little dust on it. LOL
Today I hope to accomplish something equally exciting. But this heat may slow me down some. We'll see how it goes....
What are you all up to today? AnnW- Have a great trip. I hope you get some good quality time with dd and dh. Don't worry about ds--he's doing male-bonding and feeding the bugs! LOL

Good morning! Just had a great workout on the treadmill, am restarting my 13 week walk/run program, just to remotivate myself and have a goal.
It is so muggy here, the wonderful blessed worth-every-penny portable air conditioner is blowing out lots of cold arctic air upstairs, so I am a happy lady :)
We are off to swimming lessons, maybe to Lilo and Stitch this afternoon, and soccer tonight. Poor dks are going to melt!

How can the humidity be 97% and it not be raining? LOL We are going to the pool at 9am when it will only be about 85 degrees. That is about all we have planned today. I am keeping my nephew today so maybe we will go to the video store after the pool. Sounds like a good day to stay inside with the blinds drawn....nice and cool!

HOT HOT HOT yes it is....worked out already...have all the fans on...its going to be a miserable day I can feel it....the realator comes at 1:00 pm and I am busy cleaning and straightening up boxes...oh who cares...she knows we are moving in 13, yes 13 days......so my yard looks great and the house is clean just cluttered....
have fun what ever you all do...and stay cool...8)

I swear we are taking everything in our house! LOL We have cabins but they aren't really "stocked". We leave around noon today..just checked the forecast and it looks like our 5 hour drive will be mostly in rain AND it's forecasted to rain till Friday!!!! :{ :\

Cathy..I don't want quality time with either of them..I am on vacation!!! LOL
Angie..it only rains here when it hits 100%..we stay in the 90% all the time! LOL

Morning all! Looks like a beautiful day here....just right temps....may enjoy the day outside today even. Got the yard all mowed last night and my flowers weeded.
The fireworks were great last night! We all enjoyed them.
Have to get some forms filled out and mailed away for camp. I volunteered to help cook while the girls are there this year. I have to have a child abuse and criminal records check done. Plus fill out two pages of "why you want to volunteer at camp".
Have a great day all....and try to stay cool!

Hot again here, too. Nothing on our agenda. Dh and my brother will continue working on the deck and I will entertain my nephew and dks. LOL!

Hot here too! Not much going on today. Just studying of course! Trying to get my schedule ready for fall...they keep messing me up!
Might go shopping for a few minutes but I might wait til tonight when it's cooler.

How far are you guys on the deck??? We're all framed up..getting ready to start with the railing parts, and laying the cedar deck boards. It's been too hot to work outside during the afternoons...so dh spends a couple of hours on it after 6 pm. It's supposed to cool down later this week, then maybe we can get it up to pace again.

she is doing Multi listings and needed more photos....she has some leads..so..well see....she is really nice...so I hope she sells it soon....
Am I the only one who likes it hot? I love when it's 85-90 outside and sunny. Today is cloudy and it just kind of depresses me. I was hoping to go to the beach but I guess we better stay close to home.
Summer always seems so busy, I've got 4 trips planned before the end of the summer and trying to squeeze one more in. My neighbor wants me to drive to Calgary with her in August, I'll have to think about that one for a while.

I've only got 3 kids today and actually thought I'd have an easy day today because of it but... it's not. I've got a 4 year old who's parents sent her away with an aunt for two weeks 8o and needless to say... my other 4 year old is really missing her. :bigcry: No matter how much I play with her or do... she wants her friend back. LOL Oh well... nothing I can do about that. :( Thank goodness tomorrow is Wednesday (Friday for me) and so just one more day of trying to entertain and keep her happy and busy. I think half of it is that she's got a bad cold and isn't really in the mood to do too much of anything... whether her friend was here or not. I'm hoping that her mom/dad (they work out of their home) will keep her home tomorrow if she's not feeling better.
It's ickey/hot again today... I for one HATE hot/humid weather. This is about the time I start dreaming/thinking about cooler weather 8o 8o and I hate winter and the cold weather that comes with it. LOL I guess I'm a hard one to make happy. LOL
Tonight right after work we've get to go view and pick out my dd's graduation pictures. I'm really anxious to see them... so I can hardly wait for the end of the day to come. I can't believe my baby will be graduating next year. 8o 8o 8o. LOL
I've been wanting to get rid of my ****atiels for quite some time now but couldn't find any takers. My oldest dd happened to mention them to a few of the nurses at the clinic she works at and one of them told her that there was another nurse who worked there who had mentioned how she would like to get a few birds. Well... I FINALLY get rid of them this weekend some time. I told her... once she takes them they're GONE, she can't change her mind and bring them back. LOL I can hardly wait to have a nice quiet... squackless house again. :) :)
Anyway... it's almost pick up time so I guess I'd better get going and get the kids ready to go home. Hope you are all having a good day!

Actually, I love the heat...85-90 sounds about right! But we've been over that for several days in a row (right now it's 95), and the humidity is pretty high as well. It kind of lowers my energy level, and dds are pretty short-tempered. It just makes for a longer day!! I'm hoping for some clear hot days SOON......I need the beach!!

With it being so hot ours is going slow, too. They finished getting deck boards down on main part today, but there's still an octagon part to build, then the railings, stairs......this looks like it will be an ongoing July project.
Has your dh had lots of help? Hope it cools down for you guys soon!!

Way too hot and humid today. It was the first day of camp, and we are all just melting.
Long days ahead of me for the next 8 weeks, but the kids love that I am at camp today (even though I rarely see them there)

I am sitting here praying for nice hot weather. I would love it to be above 90. Lately it has not been above 50. Cant wait for some warmer weather so we can play outside in the the kiddie pool...lol or go to the beach, or the park.
Didn't haev any DCK's today, but will ahev one tomorrow and I have a friend coming with here kids to play.
The fishing derby we went to this weekend was a bummer. Didnt get much fishing in at all. It was way to cold and windy. I think the highest temp this weekend at the lake we went to was 51.
We only got 2 fish so we gave the them to the kids. DS#1 got a new fishing rod for a prize and DS#2 chose a boomerrang. DH and I got nothing. Now that we are home I have laundry to do and cleaning up. I also have to start shopping to find a dress for the wedding that I am standing up in this month. I have 2 1/2 weeks to find it. Talk about leaving it to the last minute...lol
Those of you who are going to the pool alot I wish it was me too. Are they public pools? We have two public pools but they are both indoors and very crowded. Are yours indoor or outdoor?
Bizymom..here we have neighborhood pools that you pay to join but they are not as expensive as a country club.
