Friday Morning, YEAH!!!!

Good Morning one and all. I hope that everyone had a safe holiday. I don't have too much planned for today, but I do have some. I have to take Minnie to the vet in about 30 min, and I will take the garbage off too. I need to finish my questions for school, and mail them to the teacher. They were supposed to be mailed on the first, but I think this teacher will understand.If I get all that done, I will probably try to clean the house some. Hope everyone has a great day!!!!:D

Good morning. It's so much cooler today and it feels wonderful. Unfortunately, dds are so tired that they may just sleep right through these prime work hours. LOL I know the lawn will be cut today, and the garage will be sorted. I have to get Dad into the doctor to find out what's going on with him. He has been a little better the past 2 days, but he's been sleeping on the sleeper sofa in the family room, and shows no interest in returning to his own room. I may have to make a permanent adjustment. I hate decisions like this!!:\ :\ I'm not sure there's a 'right' way to go. Oh well, that's just the way it goes sometimes.......

Good morning everyone!!! I hope you all had a great 4th of July! I pretty much stayed home the entire day. We got the oil changed on my car, dh's van and dd's car... so at least I can say we accomplished something. LOL Dh is going up to our other house this morning to mow the lawn... while I go shopping. (I'm off from work today 8o ) I'm looking for a pair of light yellow shoes to go with my dress... and I can't find them ANYWHERE!!! I'm starting to panic... as the wedding is almost just a week away. I'd also like to find a matching purse/earrings... but at this point I'm not holding my breath. If I have to I can go with navy... but I'd much rather go with the light yellow.

Our house seem's very quiet this morning... I gave my ****atiels away to one of the nurses that works with my dd. I've had them for over 5 years... and my dh could no longer stand all of the noise they'd make. :tearhair: I always said that if I could find someone who would be willing to take them both... I'd give them to them... and so I did. I'm already missing them... but I'm enjoying the peace and quiet. LOL I'm only hoping that they're doing okay with all of the changes. :)

Renee... how did your yard sale go? Hope you sold lots!!!

Cathy... have you had your dad to the doctor yet? I hope he continues to improve. Please keep us updated as to how he is doing.

Leigh... Get that homework done and sent in... 8o LOL you'll feel much better knowing it's all done and gone... :)

Not much going on here. We decided to go upstate and visit family. We'll come back tomorrow. I'll study for finals in the car since I'm not driving. Then sunday is my nephews b-day andd I'll finish this annoying paper. I've been majorly procratinating... But it's due monday morning. Guess I gotta get it done.

I hope you have a lot of fun visiting with your family. What's with all you guy's not doing your home work? Get it done!!!!! LOL I shouldn't talk. I too am a major procrastinator, especially when it comes to paperwork... so I know what it's like. LOL Hope you have a good trip!

The last 3 or 4 year's of my dad's life, he never slept in their bedroom in the bed... but he always felt more comfortable sleeping in the livingroom in the recliner. 8o 8o Do whatever works for him and makes him happy. Good luck with your decisions... they aren't always that easy to make. :)

Pretty laid back Friday here. I was up around 8:30 but none of the kids were up till after 9. That doesn't happen very often.

My brother and his family from Colorado are here and my nephew called over to have our youngest ds come over to play.

Not sure if anything is on the agenda today besides straightening up. I'd like to take the kids to the pool but I'm not sure what we'll do.

Morning all. Thunderboomers rolled thru during the morning, but the sun is starting to shine now. It is supposed to get hot this afternoon.

Not sure what we will all be up to today. Made playdoh for the kids yesterday...they had a blast. Hard to know how to entertain 7 extra people all day for the next couple of weeks! We made head to the lake tomorrow.

She has been limping off and on. The vet said that there is something popping out of place in her leg. She said eventually, it will require surgery to fix, but we are to hold off for now. She also said that Minnie is not overweight, but she would like for her to lose a little to keep some weight off of her leg. Minnie also has spells of difficult breathing, and we are still trying to figure that out. The vet said that she is normal and healthy, but that little dogs have more problems like these, so it is not unusual. Thank you for asking.

I know that I will feel so much better once I send it off, but I just can't find the gung ho to get it finished. I have been chopping away a little at a time, and I am determined that it will be done in the next one hour. I am going to reward myself with a trip to the store when I am finished. :D

Busy day, so far. Up and off to work, dad came and got dd for a fun-filled day, I'm jealous! Wed. I had to pack up my work stuff to move to the downtown office. So, I had to unpack this morning when I got in, plus meetings, etc. Had to leave at 12:30 b/c I'm having digital cable installed :yippee: and will work the rest of the day from home. Darn, hate that!!! It's amazing how it worked out to schedule the installation for a Friday, between 1 and 5! :lol: I actually do have tons of work I need to get done. Hopefully the cable guy will come closer to 5, otherwise, I might be worthless!!! They're having a special that costs the same as what I'm paying now for preferred (no movie channels) service, but I'll get the Disney Channel :happydnc: and a movie channel, I chose Starz, supposedly has the newest movies. After the first of the year, I'll cancel the movie channel. Seeing as how I don't have a social life, I can justify spending $$ on cable!!! :D

HI all....well day two is over...two more days of YARD SALE left...8o we sold pretty slow today...cooler out...looked like rain there for a while...but we were lucky....we sold some things...going through more tonight....always something else to add....:)

the moving van comes on July 15th....to pick up our stuff...we will probably sleep over my SIL the last night...and leave on the 16th....just because they don't expect to be done with our house until around 5...and we don't want to leave at 5 pm....lol..:lol:

You mention a wedding. Since I see you already have a dh, is this for someone else in your family? I ask because my daughter is getting married next March and we are beginning to get all excited about that. But your picture doesn't look like you could be a mother of the bride yet. (Then again, I don't think I look like one either. How could this happen? I'm so young still - a mere child, an infant. Practically in utero.)

I have been having a lot of fun and have seen a lot of things, but I sure miss my daily routine and schedule! I am having BIG time IB withdraws. :\ Anything exciting been happing? Or not so exciting for that matter?

Sure hope everyone got their homework done! I got some dc paperwork done for next week. I did that when I really wanted to be here! LOL
