It was just announced yesterday that Elton John is making 2 Canadian stops on his tour and one is here in li'l old Sask. The concert is on dh's birthday, so of course I will have to spoil him and take him out for his birthday!!!!! I can't wait it's been years since we've been to a concert, just so excited, had to share!

Very cool--I've heard he does a great show. Line up for your tickets --could be a family bonding event!! LOL

Darlene: He is Saskatoon on Aug 30 and Kelowna a couple of days before. Sure is strange although nice, that he picked these small locations.

How would I go about getting tickets Fern? Where in Saskatoon is the concert? Wow that would be such fun to go! A long trip though....5 hour drive from here.

Oh how exciting!! We've seen him 4 times, he's awesome!!! So many well known songs and so consistent. Enjoy :)

He'll be at sask. place check out their website for getting tickets
http://www.saskplace.sk.ca/ - they go on sale Saturday morning.

Aah come on 5 hours wouldn't be bad, make it your last holiday of the summer, it is the long weekend and all.

Thanks for the info Fern! I'm trying to talk dh into going....he doesn't sound too excited though!
