The Mole

Has anyone been watching this show? I have and was just curious if anyone thinks they know who the mole is??? I'm really not sure what to think...in other words I change my mind every week.

I think it's Jim, but I'm not sure. I think the lawyer is too emotional to be it, the old guy seems too pessimistic, and I'm not sure about Steve.

You sound like me....I'm wondering about Jim, too. My dh thinks it's Kathy the lawyer..at least he did til last night. He had to watch it on tape so I'm not sure who he's guessing now. I thought Steve was a possibility but being an undercover cop made it obvious...then again a good way to hide him. It's just so hard to tell who's messing things up! Guess I'll just have to wait :)

It's on Tuesday nights - ABC at 8pm est. I had trouble figuring it out...and still do at times. They started with a group of 10 or so - I forget - and each week they have missions to complete. Each mission earns more money for the pot and the winner at the end gets all the money...if the mole doesn't win. The mole is someone in the group who works for the show and tries to sabotage the missions without being obvious. That's what has me guessing so much..it's hard to tell mistakes made from sabotage.

I've heard it's a good show. I would probably be lost if I tried to start watching it now. Do you know when this one will end and if they will do another like "Mole 2"??

I think Charlie is such a jerk! Poor Kate! I felt so badly for her last night.

Who was the one who picked up the book and then put it back down? I get Jim and Steve mixed up. Didn't see one of them talk much about who he thinks the mole is, so maybe it's him? Not sure, but I don't think it's Kathryn or Charlie.

It's no survivor, but it's OK. Not as bad as Big Brother, though (I used to sit there watching that show and think, "Why am I watching this?" LOL!)

I felt sorry for Kate, too. Charlie was way too nasty! I bet her son would like to get hold of him ;)

Karla, I don't know if there will be another show or not, but you could certainly try it next week - we'll try to remind you. You'll just have a narrower field to guess from than we did starting out. The missions are interesting.

And LOL about Big Brother, Mickey! I did the same as you!

I was at bunko (had tons of fun btw!!) and didn't get to see..is Kate the pretty brunette? What happened? I think it is Steve.

OK, let me see...they had a mission to protect and jar type thing of water in a fort like place. They would be attacked at night by 4 aggressors. The players had paint guns, night vision, walkied talkies to use. Well one got in and broke the jar (which ended the game). Kathryn (the lawyer - pretty one) was with the jar but couldn't shoot fast enough..sort of suspicious. The next mission was in a library...they had clues and had to find the book and then go to a location and get picked up by a carriage. They won that mission. In the end, Kate got terminated - she's the older lady who dyed her hair green and Charlie cussed at last night and previous nights. It was also revealed to the audience that Jim and Steve had an alliance. I think I covered it all :)

I like the show, especially the fact that the players are eliminated based on the quiz they take at the end of each session. The less they know about who the mole is, the worse they do on the test. Voting people off is just mean WAH! And no :snickers: for them!!!
(Woo Wee! My second post!!! I see I'm waaayyy behind the (ahem) regular chatter boxes ....) LOL

Naw ... you wouldn't be lost. They might mention some past players and you wouldn't know who they were, but the format is pretty simple. They play, eat dinner and dessert ( :snickers: ), challenges, yell at each other for messing up, voice their suspicions about who the mole is, take their quiz, meet for execution (elimination).
