I just heard a terrible story. A 4 year old boy was attending a community camp downtown. They took 16 preschool children to a community swimming pool and he drowned. When the paramedics arrived, he had no vital signs. Right now he is still in critical condition in the hospital. Please send prayers up for this little boy (even though I don't know him at all ), I think he needs all the help he can get

How awful. I worry about that with our summer school kids going swimming on Mondays. You really can't take you eyes off these kids for a minute. My main worry was that there was only one teacher for the 150+ kids that went along with parent volunteers. But my experience is that parents keep a good eye on their own and not quite so good an eye on others.

I'm not sure of the details. I check the papers/news daily to find out what happened.

This has been one of my nightmares. My dd has had years of swimming lessons and doesn't swim!! Right now she is with friends swimming. This worries me even more.

After being on life support for a couple of days, the little boy died the other day. How tragic :(
