dd has a pair of jeans that are too short...I was going to sew some cute material to the bottom and make them longer...NO WAY...she wants me to make a jean skirt...any advice...it seems simple enough...but I am feeling like I might run into something unexpected....anyone ever do this? tia

Memories....I made a jean skirt when I was in highschool. I don't think it was very complicated at all. Just cut open the jeans along the seam, and cut a piece of the extra fabric (from the legs) to be sewn in the missing part of the skirt. Have fun with it!

its cute....I think its too short...but its ok for around the house....we are going to have to make more....love the fact that when ds grows out of jeans...we can turn them into shorts or skirts now....just add some lace and they are happening...we did lace around the pocket in the back...very cute....:)
