Hi, just dropped by and decided to stay!

Well, today is definitely a day of first's for me. This is the first chat forum I've ever joined. I dropped by out of curiousity and really liked what I saw. You guys seem so warm and friendly to each other. I just couldn't resist hitting the register button.
You'll have to forgive me, but I'm not chat room savvy and I don't understand a lot of your short forms. I am a fast learner though, so just give me a little time and I'll be dd, dh, and lol-ing with the best of ya!

I'm happily married to the love of my life(16 yrs) and we have 3 beautiful children. 1 girl and 2 boys.

I live in Southern Ontario, Canada. This brings me to my other first. Today, I saw my first Robin of the spring :yippee:
Now this may sound silly to those from southern climates, but after the winter we just had, it is pure and simple bliss to me!!!!

Welcome to the board. You are right... this is a very friendly place to come. I know what you mean about the first robin. I saw my first one the morning of the first day of spring and it made my day. Ok, something not fair is happening. Where's my first robin of spring time. All I saw was more snow. It was only a few flakes and melted as quick as it came down but doesn't compare to a robin.
I WANT A ROBIN TOO! (whine, pout, whine) LOL
If you don't hear from me tomorrow you will know I'm out hunting for a robin.

I don't make it one here very often. It is very addictive some days!

I sure hope spring is here to stay. I have tulips and iris coming up and if it gets really cold again they' won't bloom!! That has happen 2 or three years now! :(

Sorry it took so long to get back, but life got in the way. Actually, this is just going to be short and sweet as my hubby is about to walk through the door. Can't keep a hungry man waiting.

Hello Cabinfever! I have three children also. I'm in Minnesota and I haven't seen a robin yet, and our snow banks are still two feet high. I'm ready for spring.
