View Full Version : dd started Kindergarden today
I had tears in my eyes I must say....she looked so small....she was so ready though...we had to get some immunizations this morning....and were told she could skip the day because of them....but she so wanted to go....I can't wait to see them get off the bus at 3:10 pm.....at least they ride the say bus....I am excited for her....I miss her though.....

Wow!!! I love hearing about the first day of Kdg. Let me know how it went!!! (I'm sure it was awesome!!:) )
Yea!! I'm glad it went off without a hitch... today anyway, lol! You've been through a lot to get her there. :) No spending your morning wandering around the house, not knowing what to do! ;) Let us know how their day went.

This is one of those bittersweet moments -- exciting because this is another milestone for your child, but sad, because this is another milestone for your child. Hope is was a great day!

Congrats to your little dd!!! Did she get into the school you had hoped she'd get into?

How did her day go..DS#2 starts kindergarten on Sept 5th, he is so excited.

I hope she had a good day!! It makes tears come to my eyes knowing that in less than 2 weeks dd#2 will start kindergarten and in a month ds #3 will start Head Start. Then all my babies will be in school! :bigcry:
she LOVED it....said they had so much fun, can we go again tommorrow...LOL...she and her brother got off the bus at 3:30 and were just totally talking my head off....LOL...Yippee
glad they like it....and they love taking the bus....:)

Renee- I am so glad that things went so well.
Karla- {{{{KARLA}}}} Do you think that your ds doesn't want to start kindergarten because of all the trouble ya'll were having with preschool? I will keep ya'll in my thoughts and prayers that everything goes smoothly for him.

I'm so glad to hear that she had a good day!!! I still remember my oldest (and all of the rest) dd's first day of kindergarten... I :bigcry: like a big baby... and I did the same thing with each dd after that too. It's hard to believe that my youngest will be graduating next year. 8o
I hope she continues to enjoy her day's in kindergarten. :)

Jennifer and Leigh - Thanks gals!! I am hoping he loves it once he gets there - he just gets so nervous and anxious.
