Teacher Appreciation Day

Wal-Mart had their TAD today from 8 - 10. I had to drop ds off at band camp, then headed to Wal-Mart. Got there about 9:10 and had only 50 min. to rack up on bargains and get to the checkout by 10 for my 10% discount. I was a woman on a mission getting both things for ds and a seperate ticket for my classroom. I stopped one teacher to make sure if I bought all my supplies myself would the school reimburse me. She told me the principal was on checkout 5 with the school credit card. I loaded up and still have $160 to spend. I even won a paper shredder. Too bad I missed out on the TV and VCR.

Wow... that's pretty good! It sounds like you had a good time.

It's hard to believe that it's that time of the year again. This will be the last year that I'll be sending one of my kids off to school. :bigcry:

I haven't heard of our Walmart doing that either. When I become a teacher, I must reccomend that to them. :lol: Hey anything to save some money!
