View Full Version : need help plannning a Chuck E Cheese Party
ok, since we have lived in the country so long...we have been aware of Chuck E Cheese's but didn't have one in the state.... ds wants to go for his 7th birthday...great...we are inviting 4 friends/relatives....
how do you do this....call and get a party? not enought people? just go and get the pizza, bring in a cake? how about tokens...are there places you can go to get free tokens? help please...I am so new at the "Party" thing.....tia
You can call to reserve a party space-doesn't matter how many people. THe price they give you will include pizza, drink, goodie bag, tokens and cake. Oh-and a special appearance by chuckie. Or you could do it al la carte-buy your own goodie bags and just order a pizza there and have cake when you get back home. i guess whatever is a better deal for you.
try- http://www.chuckecheese.com There usually a discount that is offered-they are pretty bad for the summer, but once in awhile they have 100 free tokens with the price of a large pizza.
Thank you Amy, I called and got a party schedualed.....got the 100 free tokens....surprised that I got one on the day I wanted too....Aug 19th...its a Monday evening...so that helped me....thanks again...

I did dd's party at Chuck's this year! I printed up my own inviations and found this http://www.dealofday.com/board/attachment.php?postid=546448 at Deal of Day, printed them out, one for the child and one for the adult bringing them and sent them with the invitations. I also signed up for the monthly coupon from the CEC website, and checked Deal of Day to get a coupon for free tokens with a pizza purchase. That way, the adults get to eat too, and can split the tokens between their kids! Let me know if you'd like to look at, and/or use the invitation I made to send out... aimes30@bellsouth.net
One thing.... if the parents want to go in on a pizza, don't let the party host/hostess add it to the party bill... I ended up paying more than my share... choose one adult to go up and order from the counter, then split the bill between whoever eats!
Have fun! I'm jealous... dd's was at 4:00 on a Saturday and it was pure chaos!!!

The only caveat about using CC to run your party is that if it is a poorly managed one and they run behind they will boot you at the end of your scheduled time (unless you are the last group of parties) whether they are running on time or not. We were at one where CC was running behind so they ended up boxing the cakes for all the parties and asked them to relocate to the nonreserved party areas. Very unprofessional...
