One last big trip before school starts!!

We are flying out on Saturday. Dh's family has a reunion. We will be gone 7 days. We fly back the next Saturday. The timing isn't the best with School starting the following Monday. I think I have all Dd's stuff. And I will have Sunday to get all the clothes washed.

I think that I will call the school to find out DD's teacher for this next year. We usually get a letter or card, but since we will be out of town - I better call. That will ease some of the tension for dd.

If y'all are missing me...NOT!! That's what I am doing!!!

We are flying into Las Vegas, but will be driving to Zion's Nation Park for the Reunion. I am kind of bummed with my foot. But hopefully, I can get a good massage and manicure. I will have to see what the lodge offers !! :)

Darlene - Thanks for asking the foot is not doing so well. The doctor was not pleased with the color at all. I am doing all the things she said to do. (Except stay off of it!! - I discussed this with her. I am walking on my heel when I do walk!! It is just a bad time, cause I am trying to get dd ready for school and a trip!!)


She prescribe meds for me since we have a family vacation. I am only to have it filled if it gets worse. I hope Ut will not have trouble filling a TX prescription.


A bumming situation the foot is... OH but the hole is down to 15mm's (did I get this right. I am not used to metric. It was how the doctor measured it. I know the number was 15 something.) I guess that is a good thing. It is getting smaller and shallower. It is just not fun!!!

You're going to have to stay off your foot if you want it to get better. If this was your dh or child, you wouldn't let them walk on it if the doctor said no, so why hold yourself to a lessor standard?

Oh Kacee sounds like fun...we passed Zion national park when we were driving cross country...:rolleyes: it was on fire then...yicky....hope your trip is carefree and fun...stay off your foot...I agree with Ann....if this was your child or husband you would be more demanding that they STAY OFF IT! :lol: enjoy yourselves and your dh's family....;) if that is possible.....;)
