DS got 100 on his spelling test and his math test Friday...:happydnc: 2nd grade seems to be his niche....we are so proud and he was thrilled with himself too....YIPPEE;) :p

It's so great to see them succeeding. And you know what he needs to keep it up! Do you realize how much your dd picks up from your quizzing? not just facts, but attitude and study habits. Good job!! And congrats to ds!

Yea for your ds!!!! Isn't it funny how "involved" we feel about the spelling tests??? I mean, we practice with them all week...and then wait nervously for the Friday test with them! LOL We want/deserve that 100% as much as the kids do!;) :rolleyes:

We'll get back in the swing of that soon enough...and ds2 is going to 1st grade, so he'll start weekly spelling tests also. Phew...twice the work/worry/preparation for good ole Mom and Dad! ;)

Yippee! Way to go. Ds always took practice tests at school on Thurs. and if he made 100% of course did not have to take the "real" test on Fri. He'd always make 100% and then felt like he never had to take a real test. It really seems to relieve pressure for him.
