When you fix dinner, it is...
A. One meal and one meal only
B. Two meals, one for dh and me and one for the kids
C. Fix dinner? Is that calling Dominoes?

....uh....well it depends on the day and then I guess my answer would be "D"....all of the above. LOL However, I usually just cook one meal and we all eat it.

A. One meal and one meal only ~ one meal as of this year...;)

B. Two meals, one for dh and me and one for the kids ~ once and a while we do that, a couple of times a month

C. Fix dinner? Is that calling Dominoes? NO....although that does sound good right now.... usually I fix something "homemade"

I'd have to say it depends on the day. If I can only chose one answer, it would be A. When dh is working late, we will sometimes have something else for dinner (take out).

I will only make one meal... and if someone doesn't like or want what I've made, than THEY can make something else, but not me... LOL

It's generally "A" with "C" thrown in every chance I get, LOL!! :D

Mostly "A", "C" about once or twice a week, and occasionally "B" (as in, four of us like fish and one does not, so she gets canned ravioli on those nights).

PS Why does there always have to be one kid who doesn't fit in with the family's preferences in food? We all like italian sausage, she wants a hot dog. We all like steak, she wants mashed potatoes. We all like raw vegetables, she likes cooked. *sigh* It takes a lot of the enthusiasm out of my chicken-frying when I know she's gonna look down at her plate and go "chicken AGAIN?".

A. One meal only--Hey if you aren't hungry enough to eat what's being served, there's always breakfast tomorrow!

(I do often cook something different for my dad--he's picky and has a lot of trouble chewing and swallowing. But he doesn't eat with us, or even at the same time, so I don't think of his meal as 'the family dinner'.)

One meal only, but make sure to include at least a couple things that everyone likes. (ds is the only picky one and he is getting much better)

I choose d all of the above. Most of the time it is a, but occationally I like c, and very seldom, we do b.

some combo of A & B with leaning towards A.

Well, no offense, but I'm glad I don't live with some of you. I am the picky eater in my family. (Actually it's a combination of picky and me not being able to eat foods they like)

I would say All of the Above. If I fix one meal, I try to be sure there is at least one thing everyone likes. Many, many times I will make a meal for everyone else and fix myself a microwave pizza. Some nights I'll make something the kids like, that dh doesn't and fix him and me something separate.

If I had it may way, we'd do C a lot more, but we don't even have a Dominoes here in the boonies. The closest one is about 70 miles away. We lived on that in College. Dh and his roommate were VIP's!
