Good morning. I'm up, dressed, and my briefcase is packed.8o :( The vacation portion of my year is finished. But I wanted to check in here and let you all know that I'll miss you today. I think the new job is going to be good for me--definitely challenging!! I had some trouble settling down for sleep last night. My mind was racing around the summer and what I need to accomplish before the girls go back to school. But I don't feel too tired. I'm pretty excited. Have a good day. 'See' you all when I get home!!

Well, I have house cleaning on the agenda today. I mean real deep house cleaning. I don't know if it will get done or not, but it is what I intend to do. I also plan on taking my car into the shop sometime today. It has been acting sort of funny. I hope it is nothing to serious, as we still have not figured out what is wrong with dh's truck.

:D I hope everyone has a great day, and for those of you starting back to school, have a great first day! :D

It went really well!! :) I was handed 3 resumes at 9:00 for people we were interviewing starting at 9:30. I've never interviewed anyone in my life!! I think we're hiring 2 of them. It was cool. I have a lot to go over tonight, and am thinking about how I want to set up my office. I have to move some things around to suit my bizarre work style. LOL
One little thing that meant a lot to me...a family worker said, "I'm happy for you, but we'll really miss you in the classroom. I have parents who've requested you for their kids." Awww.

Thanks for all the kind thoughts. I'll post as much as I can.

sounds like your first day was a sucess...you should feel great about the comment...you have touched lives Cathy.....:)
