Monday certainly came quickly and early this week!

Morning. I am up too early. The dog was restless all night and kept me awake. DS has an all day babysitting job for two little boys 8-2 and then off to the dentist for him and then school supply shopping while I have him trapped in the car! LOL

GapKids is having a pretty good online sale if anyone is interested. I got him some shorts for $9.99 each. FINALLY got dd done, and some pretty cute stuff too.

I posted this on Cathy's It's Finally over post, but I will post it here too. It will just help me procrastinate more. LOL!! I have major house cleaning on the agenda today. I am not sure how much I will get done, but I am going to at least try and start. (maybe) :lol:

Taking both cars in for emissions testing this morning...running a couple of errands...and going with some friends to see Spy Kids 2 this afternoon. My kids don't know about this yet...and they will be SOOOO loving me when they find out!

Nothing too much going on today. Grocery shopping after work tonight... :rolleyes: I really don't need anything... but because my mom needs to go... I will too. :) I'm hoping that I don't end up buying a bunch of stuff that I don't really need, which is what I usually end up doing. LOL

Gloomy today... were suppose to have showers and thunderstorms this morning... but so far it hasn't started raining. We'll probably be spending the majority of the day in the house today.... thinking that I might have the kids bake some more cookies or a cake for their snack tomorrow. I'm thinking that if I have all of the ingredients... we might even try our hand at making some play-doh. We've made it before... but for some reason the last batch didn't turn out very well. LOL The kids love making things...

Anyway... I hope you all have a great/fun day today.

morning all...supermarket for me today after dd gets on the bus....I have three whole days until I start work to get this place in order :lol: but I will probably hit the store and come home and do nothing....;) oh well...

got the house pretty cleaned out over the weekend...no more boxes in here...now some light surface cleaning and it will look like we have always been here....:)

Dks and I slept in this morning - perfect day to do that since it is gloomy. :) Dh started fb practice today. I have tons of laundry to do. Not much else on our agenda for the day.

Good afternoon!

I'm just sitting here procrastinating... I need to get working on my paper. I want to get a big chunk of it done today!!! I guess I need to get mor coffee into me first.

I'm also waiting for the fedex guy to come with my new cell. I'm so excited cause I got the regional plan with free long distance so I'll be able to most everyone...Yippy:D No my home phone bill will go down. Gotta love these calling plans!

It is Monday isn't it???? I got a phone call at 6am from another provider on base asking if I had openings for 3 boys today. Well, I actually do have 3 openings today and said I could taken them all. So far no one has shown up! I did call her and she said 2 of them don't need care now and the third she's not sure about. Since the parents don't know me they might come by to meet me or one of the parents might take the day off. So we'll see. It's a gloomy and rainy day so we are going to go to the mall playland. I'm not going to wait around for them to show up.

My 2 dck's that have been on vacation for the last month came back this morning! And I'm so happy to have them back! :) :yippee:

Tonight both my dks have soccer games, but it's been raining for 3 days now so we'll see if they actually play tonight or not. Cross your fingers that the games are canceled for me! :)

Hi all. What an exhausting weekend! My brother's house is right along the main highway in/out of their city....I am NOT used to traffic noise....didn't get much sleep for two nights. We drove home late last night....didn't get in till 1 am. Was up at 8:30 when my mom came over to feed the pets....she didn't know we had come home last night...then I went back to bed :sleep: till 11 am! Been in lazy mode all day.

Rain forcast all week....gloomy. Maybe we will get the rest of school stuff ready. Two more weeks...this summer has gone by way to fast.

Took ds to band camp, then spent the day in my room dusting and disinfecting everything. Managed to get my room fairly clean till I got to my closet. It needs a major overhaul. I got one little corner taken care of. Buy the time I got home my nose was bleeding from all the dust I'd inhaled. Ordered pizza for the guys, then cleaned up and went to ladies night out at church. Tonight the had a special program for teachers. We each brought a teacher we worked with or a teacher instrumental in helping us get through school. It was a wonderful fellowship as we prepare to re-enter the classroom. It was a hoot trying to match teachers with their own grade school pictures.
