Ok, I am married to a photographer for heavens sakes...but I don't take a good photo :(....we took about 10 pictures last night of my new look and they are all awful...they don't even capture the color of my highlights...argh....looks more strawberry than blonde....I will post it if I can figure it out later....

anyway, My question to you all is...anyone ever happy with thier own photos?

I am not....usually...the kids always look good and dh is really photogenic..but I am photographically challenged....LOL..

anyone else care to share?

I love the one of Amy and me last year, and my engagement picture was good, but other than that, not real photogenic! LOL
My dh is incredibly photogenic! I hate to say this, but he almost photographs cuter than he is! LOL
DS is, depending on his smile. DD, while gorgeous in person, tries to hard so she isn't always.

I used to be in college. Every pic that was taken was fairly good. Now... forget about it!!

Mostly I hate photos of myself. Ocassionally I find one I like. Our family photo's last year turned out really good. (That's the one I use for my avatar! :lol: )

I like photos of myself more when I'm feeling confident and happy in general. Photos of when I'm thinner are much better (imo) than the ones in which I'm fatter...not only for the obvious appearance reason, but more because you can really see how I'm feeling at the time. Dh isn't very photogenic (always wants to do some silly face--think it's a family thing because his sister does it, too! LOL!). Ds takes great photos if you catch him laughing or make him laugh, but he's into fake smiling for photos at the moment.

I don't like pictures of me usually cause I have a hard time smiling naturally....but sometimes they end up good.

That pic was PURE luck for both of us! LOL I haven't heard you gushing about pics of me from Vail! :lol::p

As a rule no, but I do kinda like this ID pic I'm using as my avatar which is while I probably won't be changing it any time soon.

It's funny how the camera is more forgiving for some. I have two nieces, both gorgious, but one photgraphs really well and the other never looks as pretty as she is in person.

My pictures always turn out SO much better when/if I'm not actually posing for them. LOL I usually hate any and every picture I'm ever in... LOL My driver's license picture is AWFUL!!! LOL My dh takes wonderful pictures. I wish I did.

I'm not the most photogenic myself. Rarely have my picture taken. I'm usually the one behind the camera although haven't done much of that lately either.

I usually end up being the photographer also. When I have a picture taken it is a 50:50 chance that I will like it.
