Ok when you cook dinner or any meal for that matter...do you clean as you go or fill the sink with the dirty stuff and clean it later?

I am a clean as you go cook....dh leaves the mess...LOL....

Mostly clean afterwards. But if company is coming for supper, I will clean up as I prepare supper.

Sort of clean as I go, things are soaking while we eat, but I almost always clean the whole kitchen immediately after dinner.
For a dinner party, the kitchen is clean except for what pots I am using to cook when the guest arrive.

You mean your suppose to clean up after fixing a meal and not clean it when you need it again??? LOL

If my kids had it their way that's how we'd do it. I try to keep at things as I'm fixing the meal. The kids clear the table and load the dishwasher. I leave the kitchen completely for at least an hour before I see what they didn't get done.

My biggest problem with keeping a clean kitchen is that I don't have enough space to store everything.

I keep counters clean as I go, but usually put everything I've used in the sink (other wise dh wouldn't have much to do when he cleans the kitchen). If I know I'm cleaning after supper, I always clean everything as I go.

I keep the counter clean, but pile my stuff to be washed in the sink. I wash those after the meal.....at some point!

It totally depends on my mood...but usually when I cook ifthere are stages to it...pauses in time I clean....but like when I bake....I almost never clean until I'm done...unless I need the room.

I'm definitely a clean as I go person... I feel more relaxed eating my meal knowing that I don't have a big pile of dishes waiting for me to do after I'm done eating... :)

Clean as I go. Typically use it, rinse it (if needed) and put it in the side of the sink without the disposer. When I get a moment of down time then all the stuff gets transferred to the dishwasher until the food needs more attention. (or the dks)
