I loathe cleaning floors and making beds with clean sheets. I don't mind making a bed in general, but hate it when I have to "start from scratch".

Dh hates dusting, so I always do that and he'll do the floors and bed making when he is here. I think that's a fair trade. ;) :D

I'm with your dh...I hate dusting too. I'd rather clean bathrooms than dust, LOL.

Cleaning the bathroom and cleaning the kitchen floor.

I don't mind scrubbing the kitchen floor during the summer... but when winter comes along and everyone is constantly walking into the dining room (from the garage) with their wet and muddy shoes/boots on... I get real annoyed! LOL It seems as if I'm ALWAYS on my hands and knee's washing/scrubbing the floor by that door.

Also... I can't STAND doing the laundry. I don't mind it if there is only a few things to wash, but when the hamper's are full and running over with clothes, I just can't seem keep up with it... and that's why dh does it. He washes it and I make sure it all gets to who it belongs to. Otherwise I really don't mind housework... and I think it would drive me absolutely crazy to have someone come in to clean my house. Knowing me... I'd probably clean it before she came... so she wouldn't see the mess my family made. :biglaugh: LOL

Well, as you all know, cooking tops my 'yuck' list. I don't hate doing bathrooms, but I can not stand folding laundry. I'll sort, pretreat, wash, dry, but I beg dds to fold. Not sure why?!

I don't really mind housework. What I hate is cleaning the house and then, five minutes after everyone gets home, it's a mess again.

But what I REALLY hate is grocery shopping. I hate, despise, loathe, and abhor grocery shopping. Making hte list, driving there, looking for stuff and not finding ALL of it, standing in line, paying for it (!!!!), loading the car, driving home, unloading the car, schlepping it all in, putting it away. And for What? Everyone comes home and EATS the stuff!!

Sheesh.

Our grocery offers the service of faxing/calling/online entry of your order and then its delivered to your house. Think its $10 dollars per trip. Maybe your area offers a similar service. I think coupons get deducted from your next order.

Sounds like a cheap deal to me. Even if it does sound expensive, I would guess most people impulse buy and have wear/tear and gas of at least $10/trip to the store.

I've tried the internet grocery-ordering thing and didn't like it. Mainly because there were things that would be substituted, or things I forgot to put on the list (but might have remembered if I'd actually been in the story) and mostly because I found the meat-ordering difficult. When I choose a package of meat, I pretty much eye-ball it for the amount. Don't ask me how many pounds of chicken I need, give me 8 drumsticks! Plus they packaged the meat in butcher paper which I didn't like, would have preferred the foam tray and saran wrap thing. The savings in time wasn't worth it for me.

However, having said this, I'm all EXCITED today - there's a brand new Harris Teeter that opened up near me (relatively near, about 11 miles away. For me, that's close) and I'm gonna CHECK IT OUT!

(I hear they have a fab produce department, lots of organic foods, huge meat department, fresh bakers, oooooooh! Doesn't take much to get me all turnnnnned on.)

When I was pregnant with dd #3 dh bought me a portable dishwasher because standing at the sink washing the dishes just killed my back. 8o After she was born... I never used it anymore, and I ended up giving it away to one of the people that I was doing day care for. I honestly think they get done a lot faster if I do them by hand... 8o

It would have been simpler to ask what chores I enjoy~~~NONE!!

Lately I hate cooking, doing dishes, mopping floors, doing bathrooms, etc. It just seems so useless when the family destroys it in a matter of minutes. My most despised I suppose is doing dishes by hand. I just don't have enough counter and cupboard space so It's not easy to get things put away when they dry.

I don't mind grocery shopping. That's about as close as I get to a shopping trip anyway.
