rained it's little behind off this am...amazing thunder and lightening. I jumped out of bed at 6 to make sure the puter was shut down! I did go back to sleep till 9..rain sleep is the best. It is still raining, and there is flooding already in parts of the city! Great...and now we have ANOTHER mosquito out there that is even more dangerous than the West Nile one...this rain will make them so happy!!!!
Hitting the treadmill today, then I think I am going to go back to my hair gal and have her wisp up my hair a little more (oh yes, I went short and redder!!!)
we go at 6 tonite to find out who dd's teacher is, but i am not if it's still raining! LOL
supposed to go to a Southern Living home show at a friend's house tonite, but dh's partner called and said he just quit his other job so i think they are going to go out tonite...DS could watch DD but she hates that! LOL

Cloudy here - looks like we'll get some rain this morning. Heading to the fair tonight to meet my dad and step mom....dks keep asking when we're leaving. :) Trying to figuye out what I'm gonna eat there tonight. :drool: :rolleyes:

cool here today...a little overcast outside....running the dishwasher...dd wants another bath....get her off to school and then I am off to work...WOW...its sounds so strange....I am excited about having something to do that I know what I am doing...LOL...make sense? I really liked working when I was doing it...but I loved being a SAHM...ok...since the kids won't be home while I am working and I still a SAHM...LOL...;)

anyway...when kids get home we will do the homework...ds has a practice spelling test today for homework...the open house last night was great...I learned alot about thier teachers....funny how they seemed just as nervous and we did when we came in......everything looks great for this year in both childrens classes...

dh promised us dinner out....nothing fancy just a little place near the office we all love...they have the best Chili...:licklips:

Leave ds by himself and take dd with you!

We've got to get out of this house today, my kids are making me insane! A friend was supposed to come over but she has a nasty summer cold so she is staying away. I would also like to get to the pool since it is getting close to shutting it down for the winter. (Did I just say winter?)

Took ds to the doctor this a.m., he's going to go for alergy testing. I had an ortho appointment and got my bottom brackets off today, YIPPEE!!!!! Did a bit of back to school shopping for ds too, but have school supplies left to get. I will do that tonight, if my girlfriend can't meet me for coffee. I go back to work on Monday, after being off since May 10th :(

No Dck's yet..I am starting to enjoy this to much...lol Next week will be different though since they are back.

Today I have been catching up on laundry, what a never ending chore..I also cleaned up my porch area, and cleaned my kitchen and made all the beds.
I still have Avon orders to sort and deliver, but I think I will do that tomorrow. Tonight Mil/Fil are coming to babysit for a little while so I can go to a scrapbooking workshop for some me time, since I havent had any since before DH and I went to the wedding in July. Dh is away till Friday evening.....
Kids are getting to the point where they are ready for school, next week we will go and get some school supplies.
I would like to go swimming too, but we have tons of time for that since our pool is open year round(indoors), I am just in the mood for swimming.
Saturday my friend and I, and her 3 DK's and my two are all going to the lake, where my parents have a cabin there. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and it will be nice enough to swim....

Ok, Renee....if you can still call yourself a SAHM, then so can I. Technically, I'm with my kids all day...even if we're not at home...right? ;) ;) LOL....! Dh had the day off today...so we took dks to the zoo, and bummed around for most of the day. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL outside....80 degrees...not too humid...breezy....sunny! Gotta love it! Tomorrow we leave for a long weekend of "cabin camping". (Dh calls this "wimp" camping!) We're staying at a campground (9 families in our group!) in little air-conditioned, bathroom equipped cabins. I hear the cabin is tiny but it's wayyyyy better than tent camping! Now I'm hoping for great weather. My sister and her family are one of the other families going, so I know we'll have a blast. I'm sad, though, because this is my last weekend of "summer"....I go back to work on Monday!:bawling:

Busy day around here. I've had 3 dck's all day and 2 more will be here any minute. well... they just arrived. We played outside for a few hours and have been busy inside the rest of the day.

Both dks have soccer games tonight and it's chilly out right now, so I'm sure it will be then too. It's definitely "fall" here now- winter's not too far away! :\ Not loooking forward to it to be here so quickly!

Tomorrow's an easy day. One one dck for the day (so far anyway)! :)

My day today was awful. I took off work to go to Tallahasse for an interview into the college of education, only to get there and realize that they had cancelled the interview. They then told me that they needed to get my official transcript which I have already had to hand carry them, but they have lost it, and when I got home to check on my grades, they said that they were being with held due to indebtness. I do not owe them any money, but they did this to me last time and it took forever for me to get it straightened out. ARGG!!!:{ By the time I got home, I was laready mad enough to scream and cry, and them not giving me my grades was the straw that broke the camel's back. (Deep Breath) Oh well, I just keep telling myself, it is almost over. It is almost over. It is almost over........
