Today has been one of those days, I haven't even had time to read all the posts and dh is waiting for the computer. I wanted to post this prayer request first though.

Early this morning our priest was on his daily bike ride before morning Mass. We're not sure if he didn't know a garbage truck was behind him or if the truck didn't see him, but it appears he went to turn around when the truck was passing him and he was hit. He was flown to Kearney via helicopter. He has skull fractures and is in critical but stable condition. I guess they sedated him for 5-7 days. No visitors, not even his family is allowed to see him. It actually doesn't sound very positive that he'll come through.

Any prayers would be appreciated! Thanks!!

According to what my oldest son told me (from the update they received at school) He had a cat scan Monday and they determined that there was no infection. He will be in a coma for 6 weeks. I'm guessing they are keeping him sedated that long to keep his movement to a minimum.

Dh just left to go to a rosary/prayer service for him so maybe he'll know more when he gets home. Thanks for remembering him. :)

My prayers have always been with this man's speedy recovery. I just haven't posted anything until now. As a matter of fact the night I read your post about it, I turned on the news and they were talking about it on there. Oh how my heart goes out to that poor man's family. I feel like crying, I hate when others have to suffer.
