I'm serving on our PTA's Enrichment program committee this year and am seeking advice/ideas.
To those of you whose schools offer after-school enrichment classes, please share what is offered.
To teachers, or anyone who's arranged such a program, please help w/leads.... I'm not sure where to start looking for people to lead these classes.
I have a few in mind so far - karate, dance, foreign language....
Any help would be great!! TIA!

Our school offers scouting (cub/girl), gymnastics, spanish, art, suzuki violin...I think that's it. Plus we also take advantage of the "Young Artist" program and have visiting artist/performers come to our school.

Check out a retired seniors volunteer program. Retired people are able to trade volunteer hours for financial help with heating bills, food, ect. In our community, seniors have been very willing to teach some skills that have been forgotten in this age (quilting, canning, gardening and more). Good luck.
