What's Your Favourite Family Meal?

I thought we could each list our favourite "family" meal, and then we would have a great list of things to pick and choose from when trying to get supper on.

My family's favourite meal is:

Caesar Salad
carrot and celery sticks
homemade club sandwiches
homemade chocolate chunk brownies for dessert.

What's your family's fave??

This is a tough one.

They have several
Stouffers Meat loaf (they don't like mine! LOL)
Pork tenderloin
Beef stew or pot roast
Lasagna
KFC! :)

we always have salad and steamed veggies with every meal so I didn't count those

traditional spaghetti with salad and bread! hands down

BLT salad has become a favorite for me and the kids lately...

Well there are a few:

Beef Stew
Corn on Cob
Chicken
Turkey Dinners
Pizza

Here are a few...the kabobs are a summer fav and the rest are pretty much "winter" meals - except the tacos, pizza and spaghetti. :)

Shishkabobs (beef, chicken or pork, gr peppers, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes)
rice
some type of bread or roll
watermelon

Creamy Italian Chicken (done in the crockpot and served over fettucini noodles)

Roast in the crock pot with potatoes and carrots

Crockpot chicken tacos

Chicken supreme (chicken wrapped in bacon layed over dried beef with cream cheese and sour cream poured over it. :drool: )

spaghetti

chili
pizza

Chicken Fried Pork w/gravy
Mashed potatoes
Green Beans
Salad
Garlic & Cheese Biscuits

This is the one meal everyone will eat without any complaints.

It's hard to find something everyone in our family likes.

Some of their favorites are:

Fried chicken
Potatoes & gravy
corn
dinner rolls


BBQ beef sandwiches
French fries

Barbie Burger (sloppy joes/Manwich)

Grilled hamburgers and dogs

PIZZA--from Pizza Hut!

Not to butt in, but, I believe chicken fried pork is where you coat the pork in a breading similar to what you'd put on chicken before frying.

Here's the recipe I posted ages ago. Hope you like it.

This is a favorite of my family. Chicken-Fried pork Chops. 1/2 cup flour, 2tsp. salt, 1 1/2 tsp. ground mustard, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, 8 pork loin chops 3/4" thick, 2 Tbls veg oil, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1/3 cup water. Combine 1st 4 ingredients. Dredge chops. Brown in oil on both sides. Place in crock pot. Combine soup and water. Pour over chops. Cover & cook on low 6 to 8 hours. I serve it over rice. If there are any leftovers I will combine the meat (which is fall apart tender) with cooked carrots, peas and potatoes and top with bisquick bisquits or a cornmeal pastry for potpie.

This is one everyone loves and (with a yankee husband, 2 southerners and 1 very picky eater) is very hard to accomplish at my house.
