When dh mops the floor... he uses the swifer wet jet, and it works okay. :) When I do the floor... I just get down on my hands and knee's with a big ol bucket of water/Pine-Sol and scrub it good. LOL No mop for me... LOL :)

I'm sure glad to know that I'm not the only one who scrubbs the floor on her hands and knees! It gets the floor so much cleaner looking and to me is much easier than a mop.
OMG NO8o , maybe if it was just the kitchen....but this is the kitchen, dinning room, living room...halllway and both bathrooms....yikes8o can you both come over and help me...;)
I am thinking about the wet jet type...but want to get more infor on them both first...like what the refills cost, and are they easy to find in the local stores....
thanks for your input though...:)

Same for me! Just doesn't seem as clean otherwise. It's a pain, but it drives me nuts to mop it and see missed spots.

I have light tile with white grout and I find that the dirt that accumulates on the pad winds up in the grout.....the tiles are clean but the grout is dirty. Needless to say I don't think either work very well...wish there was an easier way.
Swiffer is fine for quick pick ups but I would not recommend it for doing all the floors. They are not for scrubbing floors clean. Hands and knees with a scrub brush gets floors the cleanest. But I don't have to do that any more. (No not because of my housekeeper's return) I went out and bought a Hoover floor mate. Yes, it is a pricey mop, but it is great!!!!! It vacuums, scrubs with a brush as I stand erect, and sqeegees it dry. No dirty water ever touches the floor, no dirty water pushed up to accumulate near the baseboards. No waiting for the floors to dry. I absolutely L-O-V-E, love it!
