How often do you go to the grocery store?

It seems like I am there several times a week. One big trip and then another if I forgot something or to get more milk, bread, etc. I would buy more the first time I am there, but as it is I am coming home with 4 gallons of milk. 8o

Since I've been doing dc I have to go once a week and buy a lot of stuff. I usually buy 4 gallons of milk too, but I think I went through 6 last week! 8o
Before (I started dc) I used to go every two weeks for a big trip and then maybe once in between for milk and little things.

We do a big shop every two weeks but sometimes need to pop in throughout those 2 weeks for some extras.

seems like once a week....to get fresh fruit and veggies....usually try to hit it once every two weeks for a big load though....

I go up to springs for big shopping every 1-2 weeks, but always need to run into Walmart for milk, fruits and veggies after we run out.

Only once a week. If I ever run out of milk in between I'll either run to our local Tom Thumb or pick up another gallon when I'm at Target.

Big shop every second Monday when the store I shop at has 15% off! Other than that I usually get to the grocery or corner store a couple of times throughout the week for fresh stuff.

I don't think they know my name, but I know they recognize me! (and my kids) I'm a sale shopper that stocks up. If the deals are great enough, I go daily and get the daily limit. I'd say my average is every other day. Helps that the store is minutes from home and on the way home from work to boot!

It's usually once a week for me, but since dh drives right by the store on his way home from work he usually gets roped into going a couple of times for things I've forgotten. Thankfully he rarely complains, lol! It's all of a 3 minute drive for me but I hate going just for one or two things! :rolleyes:

We have 2 grocery stores in town and sometimes I go to both stores on the same day!! 8o

I try to buy a big quantity once or twice a month and then little things in between. Lately it just seems to be a daily or every other day thing. I spend way too much money that way--spend a lot less the fewer times I go in. It's just too easy to pick up little extras each time.

Most of the checkers and sackers know me by name, but it's such a small store/town it's not unusual. The first time I bought a month's worth of groceries, I'm not sure they'd ever had anyone do that before because they called back 2 sackers and seemed quite over whelmed with that amount to sack! LOL They've gotten used to it now.

I try to do the main shopping once every two weeks, but i do have to go in now and again for forgotten things and things that we run out of.

Every blessed week. And I hate it! Especially at the new Wal-Mart Supercenter. It's supposed to be the new prototype for the layout of all new supercenters. I think the layout stinks. It takes me 2 hours to get my shopping done. I'm about ready to start going to Fred's and the grocery store across town.
