HELP!!! :tearhair: Does life EVER slow down??????? It's been an insane week here. Finally we had a break in the rain yesterday and today it's only supposed to be cloudy. For some reason I think we are going to get snow next week...
Anyway, the friend of mine who lost her baby is also a dc provider so we have been trying to place her dck's all week. She's going to remain closed for the rest of this week. She's going to be open next week and then she's closing for 3 1/2 weeks while she goes home to be with her mom. Her husband has to leave for a few weeks and she doesn't want to be here alone dealing with this without him. :\ I feel so bad for them. I think I will be able to help her out by taking 3 of her dck's while she's gone. That means I'll be completely full until she comes back- but I really want to help her out as much as I can.
My baby is here today and I will have 3 other dck's all day. I'm actually going to take them all shopping with me  as my dd is going to a b-day party tomorrow night and we haven't bought the gift yet! I'd take her with me and go tonight, but I do have a few priorities straight and can't miss Thursday night TV!
Hope everyone has a great day. Ann (and the others in Texas)stay dry!

Another late night for me. The thing we went to last night was actually a Taste of Home cooking school put on by the Taste of Home magazine. It was a lot of fun! I am hoping I stay inspired to try out some of the new recipes I got. They prepared 11 things and then at the end they gave them away to people in the dishes they would be served in. There were also at least 100 door prizes, but none of us won. The 2 biggest prizes were free carpet of your choice (12x40 or 15x30) and new kitchen countertops of your choice! 8o There were also booths set up with different vendors, so maybe I still have a chance to win something from one of their drawings. ;) Both dks have school today. I will buzz home while they are gone and get a few things done around here. It's been a busy week and I am really looking to a night at home. :)
Jen - How nice of you to help out your friend - what a difficult time for them. :( LOL about your priorities for tonight - I am the same way!!
WOW Karla, that sounds cool!!!
Jen, understand what your friend is going through..you are a great friend to help her out like that!
Just got back from Jazzercise..really having fun with it! Did have a little problem with one of my legs going numb but it bounced back.
Not much on today. DS has piano and DD has Brownies this afternoon.

It has been pretty busy here today. Cleaned the kids room and put in their new dresser. Did some organizing and now that I have an extra dresser empty I can start putting baby clothes away.
Both DS's are in school, but get out early for parent teacher interviews. I had mine on Tuesday. Both Ds's are doing great. DS#1 whom didn't like school last year, and didn't do to well is doing great. His printing has improved and he is gaining more confidence in himself, which he needs...He is in grade 3, but his class is a 2/3 split...perfect for him. DS#2 Kindergarten is adjusting well and really likes it. he is also starting to learn to print.. Iam so proud of them:*
DS#2 has hockey this afternoon so Dh and I will go taking the dck's with us. Thats about it here...Have a great afternoon everyone...ANd enjoy Thursday night TV....:*
Karla, that sounds great. I will definitely have to keep my eyes open for one around here. I probably wouldn't be lucky enough to win a door prize. My luck has been spent since I won door prizes at Wal-Mart's Teacher appreciation day and the first day of school from student council.
Dog woke me up at 1:00 this am wanted to go out. I never got back to sleep. Now I'm battling a headache but I didn't want to get to far behind here. I have my priorities right you know.
