Morning all!! :)

We are off to the hotel later this morning. I can't wait!! My sis actually has a vendor booth set up there today, so I am going early to help her out. Then, I am going to decorate the suite for my mom, pick up pies, etc. :)

Ann, like you I didn't sleep much last night. Got home around mid-night from the ballgame. Couldn't sleep. Got up about 3:00 and thought it was just to late to take a sleeping pill because I knew I had to get up early as I have a busy day planned for today.

Dh was gone by 7:30 to a day long teaching siminar at church. I was supposed to go but I wanted to go to the furneral of the student who committed suicide. Since we didn't get a drop of rain from Lili I had to water this morning. Hosed down the front siding and porch. That took about an hour. Ds and I wrestled with my mattress and finally got it flipped and rotated and the dust ruffle back in place. That was really a 3 person task I think. Did a couple loads of laundry. Went to the furneral. Then I had to make that dreaded trip to the supercenter, in heels no less, cause I forgot to throw in a pair of flats. Ended up buying a pair at Wal-Mart and wearing them in the store. Got things unloaded and lunch made. A short stop here then I'm headed back outside to trim, weed, and clean out the flower beds, wash and vacuum the Expedition and mow the yard for what I hope will be the last time this year.

It's a gorgious fall day here and I need to get back outside. Later I bought 4 magazines to read through. One is about Christmas ornaments. I'm hoping to get an idea for the exchange.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Well, it's almost 4:00 here and I'm just posting about my day now. Just lazed around this a.m. Did a couple loads of laundry and stipped the beds. DS has a friend over for the day and to spend the night. We took one of our cars to Toyota for an oil change and to have free pumpkin pie (promotional day). Then we went to the mall to exchange a sweater a I got for my b-day that had a hole in the sleeve. Stopped for munchies and movies for tonight and now I'm catching up on-line.

I hope ya'll are enjoying your day!

Sorry for the confusion. ;)

My sister started working at a hotel in August doing sales. They were having a holiday extravaganza out there this wknd and she had a Tupperware booth set up that I agreed to help her with. The guy that did our parties is trying to get her to sell, but she really doesn't want to, so she agreed to do this booth and then if people book parties he will do them and she'll get a percentage. As far as staying over - my mom's birthday was this past week, so my siblings and I all got rooms plus we got one for my parents...we thought it'd be fun to just relax and celebrate out there. We swam, had some drinks and munchies, went in the hot tub, ordered supper, had cake, opened presents and basically just had a great night together. :)

Dh and I got up early so we could get a headstart on the traffic and drive up for his cousins dd's wedding... it was SO awesome! What a beautiful bride/wedding. Everything was so perfect... I love weddings... especially when I'm not the one paying for them. LOL

We made it to our destination in about 4 hours... and we got to spend a few hours before the wedding visiting with relatives. The dinner was SO good... the dance was even better! There's always got to be one who gets carried away with the booze and ends up making a total fool/A$$ out of themselves... but it definitely made for good entertainment. LOL He even walked from the dance hall all the way back to the hotel... and didn't even realize it was raining. 8o Cold and dripping wet... and not a clue. LOL

Anyway... it was a busy day but one I think I'm glad is done/over with. The weekend/day went way too fast.

Diane...
