I have prize ideas for those who win the games, but does anyone have "party favor" ideas?? :tinysmile

What type of thing are you looking for? (I know, party favors! :D ) something each guest would have to take home?

The last idea I used for a baby shower favor:
wrapped white and pink votive candles in tissue paper, leaving some "fluff" at the top.
Secured them with a plastic diaper pin (like you would see on a baby shower cake -- found them at a craft store)
Attached a card with ribbon. On the card was this poem:
Here is a candle for you to light
Once the stork has made its flight.
With a flicker of its flame,
Please say a prayer in the baby's name.
I used deckle-edged (spelling?) scissors to trim around the card. I used a teddy-bear clip art image on the card, because we used teddy bears as the theme at the shower.
On a side note, for the mother to be, we made up a little bag that had a copy of the invitation (we made them on the computer), a copy of the games we used, a candle favor, a napkin to show the theme, a listing of all the names and addresses of the guests, plus a blank gift list where someone could write down gift/giver information. All the items had the teddy bear clip art on them. We just thought that was a little special touch.

how about a small little plant each person can take home and they'll think of the baby growing as the plant grows... cheesey?!

Hope I didn't hurt ya too bad! ;) I'll make it up to you (with drinks LOL!) if we both get to the IB reunion! :D

Sounds like a plan! :D
At my own shower, I did favors for the guest. I made a scroll on the computer from the baby thanking them for coming and the gifts. It was very sweet and everyone still has them. And almost everyone who came to the shower who has had children since did the same thing. One person added a small bag of bath salts to the thank you. The hostesses did everything else.
The idea for the mom to be is great.
