Well, I dropped from 230 to 193, but I am now back up to 208. Now that I have quit the second job I am trying to focus on getting back down to 180. My pant size has moved up from 36 to 38 and I have tons of cool 36 pants I want to wear this winter that I had altred from my bil!

Anyway, I can now work out in the mornings again and I've begun the process. I also plan on kicking caffeine again. I just had to resort to it to keep myself up with the little sleep I was getting.

My twin brother joined weight watchers and I can't let him catch me!

208 today... shooting for 206 on Monday!

I need to get started again too!!! I don't know what to do. I exercise everyday. (ok may miss a day here and there when walking buddies are out, but usually get at least 4 days in!) We walk 3 miles.

But I am not losing weight. I only need to lose 10 lbs. Of course those are the hardest to lose. I have tried to watch my intake. I am weak here. Plus I am a terrible eater. I love my meats and potatoes, pasta, and just food in general.

If anyone has a miracle for me let me know.

Good luck Brichard - Sorry to hop on your thread. I look forward to your motivation and updates.

Lose some for me too, cause I think it's the only way it will happen. I cheer you on, how's that?

I've been maintaining 134lbs for a while which I'm pretty pleased with. I'd like to start losing again my goal is 125 by the end of the year. I'm taking a weight lifting class so I'm going to be working up hill I'm afraid.

Brichard- I don't think I could lose 2lbs in a week unless I chopped off a limb. 8o

I'll join in as a cheerleader, too - that's sure to burn some calories, isn't it?

Good luck Brichard!! :yippee:

Thanks for the kind words everybody!

Kacee... you can do it! Have you tried increasing the intensity of your workouts? How about your food portions? I don't know what your routine is, but those are two areas that I think can help.

Jeannie... I'll settle for a one pound drop, but when I first start dropping I can usually lose 2. I am kind of easing in to working out (only walking this week, no running) so I'll see how I do. I'm also eating better, but it will take awhile for me to get used to eating properly again.

I did a 10 minute walk yesterday and a 20 minute walk today. I'll do 30 minutes for the rest of the week and keep focusing on eating healthier.

I can totally relate... Last year I hit 179, this summer 182, now 210. Are you up for a race to lose a little weight? I am thinking a race to 199. Then after that maybe 3 pound increments to 190. I just need a jumpstart to get going then once the wheels are rolling I will evaluate long-term goals.

I need to "start again" too! :\ I lost 30 lbs a few years ago and actually kept it off for a while. Now I'm slowly creeping up again. I haven't stepped on the scale in at least a month because I'm scared to! I think I've gained at least 10 lbs though- and my clothes aren't feeling comfortable any more.:\ I need to get walking again, it's just really hard to find the time sometimes...

I am up for anything man! I know my weight will always be something I have to struggle with whenever I break my routine. What kinda contest do you have in mind eh?

Hang in there JAK. Depending on your personality, I would advise stepping on the scale. I avoided it for awhile, but for me it was simply ignoring the issue. I'd get a grip on it now before it gets any more out of control. Although I can kick myself for gaining 15 pounds, I still have a net loss of 20 pounds to feel good about!

You can do it! Woo Hoo!

First one to 199. Once that happens we'll figure out what's next.

I'll be keeping posted to see who is ahead in this race.
Good luck Jeff and Brichard!!8)

I always had the motivation to be active, but lately, I can't seem to find it!
Usually I go kickboxing 2-3 times a week, and have been training for another avon breast cancer 3-day in May. I live with my boyfriend now, and you'd think I'd want to stay in shape for him!!
HA! I feel that I have become fat and comfortable.

Maybe I should get in on your contest. I need to drop about 10 pounds....didn't someone already say that those are the hardest to lose!!????

anyhooo.....Good Luck guys!
