And guess what... it's raining here still or should I say again??? :\
I guess no one started a thread today, so I will.
Nothing too exciting going on here. I have a busy day with 5 dck's all day. Two are drop in's for the day and today will be their first day.
Grocery shopping tonight and going to bed early.
What are your plans for the day?
Not much on here, been stalling this am, need to get on the treadmill, but I have been on the phone most of the am.

I got the blaaahhhsss this morning. I am actually sticking with my posting. I feel horrible. I want to go benge eat. I am craving a hamburger, chips and dips, chocolate. I just went shopping thinking it would help - but no!!! I admitt that I was good in the store and didn't buy everything that I am craving.
Maybe some cleaning will help. I just don't have energy.
Nothing pressing on the agenda today. Got things to do just don't feel like it.

I had such a wonderful day yesterday with my girlfriend at the Antique show....bought a potted herb thingy.....then we hit the salon for full body massages and pedicures.....then out for a long lunch at the souplantation...:licklips:....a little indulgance is good now and then....since we hadn't been alone without children and spouses in over 10 years...it was so worth it...we had a blast....
even better I came home around 6 and dh had cleaned the house, taken the kids to the park for 2 hours and had dinner made....I passed since I was stuffed...but nonetheless...it was a perfect sunday...
I have more picture of dh's office I need to get hung in there and found some halloween decals for his window...:lol: :blackbat:

Beautiful day here, sunny and clear, perfect fall weather.
Am taking dd2 to the dr at 1:15, she is coughing like crazy and has a slight fever and hasn't had an appetite for days. I am thinking she might have a bronchial infection. Ironic since I had her there for her 8 yr check a couple of weeks ago and the dr was commenting on how healthy she has been, hasn't been on antibiotics for almost 5 years. ha! He jinxed her.
Am dealing with very sad news, a friend of ours who has cancer has taken a very bad turn, wasn't expected to make it through the weekend but she is hanging tough. Every time the phone rings I jump. Praying for a miracle here, she will be leaving behind a 4 yr old dd and a 7 yr old ds. Very, very sad.

Oh Kathy, I am sorry your dd is sick :sick: :nurse: Hopefully she can get some meds...and be herself again soon...
as for your friend....How awful....I will keep her and her family in my thoughts and prayers :angel:

Sorry to hear about your friend Kathy. I will be keeping her and her family in my prayers. Not much going on here today. I took Minnie to the vet this morning, and I am at work now. A teacher finally left a computer on, so I can check in. The children are working really well at their modules. Hope everyone has a great day! :)

I'm not doing too much today. I'm going to set up some appointment calls, and I might give our kitchen ceiling a second coat of paint. It's kinda chilly so I have my ventless heater on low and it's making me tired. Gotta get moving to wake up :bounce:

Ds is at school - 4 days in a row he has gone in with a smile on his face! :thumb: We're going to the library after school and we have nothing going on tonight. Ds has tomorrow off. I am looking forward to going no where after being gone all wknd and running every day of the week. :)
Kathy - So sad about your friend. Will keep them (and you) in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi All!
Today was a major busy day....I went to class, PT (which is 45 min drive each way), and back to campus for midterm and another class, then home.....and it's not done yet...still need to read for tomorrow....but I'm falling asleep...
It's going to be crazy like this for the next 2 weeks....midterms and stuff... I need to get more energy,but this whole back thing is killing me...I can't do anything.
I have a chance to do extra credit for a class and I don't think I can do it because it will involve walking around for about an hour, on campus in the woods looking at plants. I told the professor and she said that if I could try it that would be good ...but if I absolutly could not do it to come talk to her....ofcourse it's gonna be like the only extra credit she gives this semester. I think I'm gonna have to skip it.
Sorry I'm babbling!!! I've just got so much running through my head...and I'm exhausted. OK I'm done...LOL

I'm a day behind on everything. Felt puny all day yesterday so I pretty much spent the whole day on the couch. Canceled my ESL tutoring, didn't make it to school to organize for this week so I spent my day flying by the seat of my pants. Thank goodness I had most of what I needed this week already run off. I did find a couple of /Ff/ projects that needed to be worked up quick. One was an art project involving mixing primary colors of paint to make secondary colorts, painting, tearing the paper to make leaves and adding to a tree trunk. (Falling Leaves) I carried it to the art teacher (new this year) and asked if she'd be interested in doing it for me (we had art today). They did part of it today and will finish next week. I was so glad.
We got rain last night. After I broke down Saturday and watered. Nice and cool today. I of course kept forgetting to tell the kids to get their jackets and they had to keep coming in for them. The duty teachers loved me I know.
I've got a mountain of ironing I need to get started on, but I'm just not in the mood. But then I'm never in the mood to iron.

Hi all. A day of running around for me. Had to be at school early this morning for staff pictures. Then after dinner drove out to the other school I work at for staff pictures. Then back into town for regular working afternoon. Picked up the kids after school and got a few groceries. Felt horrid by suppertime so made the kids eat fish/chips and hotdogs....actually they were quite happy about it! :lol:
Then a dance meeting tonight. Thought I would catch 3rd Watch at 9, but am guessing it must have been on at 8. Catching up around here and then heading to bed!
Kathy...sorry to hear of your friends cancer...how sad for her family and friends.
