Good morning RCT! I hope some of our good weather starts to come your way soon!
Dh is going to meet up with some of his old friends this afternoon. Ds has soccer practice. That's all we have in the way of planned activities today. I hope to get out in the yard and work on getting some things planted at some point.
Enjoy your day!

Woke up EARLY again this morning!!! Ugh!!! Seems like no matter how hard I try to sleep in on the weekends it just doesn't work. :) We had one heck of a thunder/lightening storm last night. The rain came down SO hard. We've only got a few small patches of snow left... otherwise everything seems to be greening up real nice. The temperatures are suppose to be high today but the sun isn't out and it's very windy this morning... so we'll see. Hopefully it will improve but I won't hold my breath. :(
Renee... sorry to hear about your cold. Most everybody I know seems to have one... so far I'm feeling pretty lucky.
(Knock on wood)
I'm off to my FIL's house hopefully to finish up. He's been gone for 1-1/2 years so all I can say is... It's ABOUT TIME... LOL Hope you all have a GREAT day...
Bye...

RCT, Sorry to hear you are feeling sick today, but I hope this greeting cheers you up :nurse: .
DH is still sleeping  (wish I could sleep in but I don't have the patience :bounce: ), the kids are watching tv but I must go make them something to eat :frog: and I am playing on the computer :computer:
I hope everyone has a great weekend
Good morning! Its extremely windy here today. Gusts upto 50mph. Dd has a soccer game this afternoon and than its off to go grocery shopping. Almost too exciting for my own good! LOL
Have a great day! Hope you feel better Renee!

It's going to be in the 80's and sunny here today, but pretty humid. darn!
Hope you feel better Renee!

Diane - Wasn't that a WILD storm last night? Ds was scared of the thunder - I even jumped a few times. :nervous: Today is very windy here, too and it's raining again. I have errands to run this morning and I dread even leaving the house. Dks slept in all week, but of course today they were both up early. :bounce: Oldest was up asking when we were going to make the muffins we talked about while tucking in last night. I should learn and not have him wake up looking forward to something fun! LOL! We're working on house stuff again today. I hope to get lots accomplished!!
:) Happy Saturday! :)

Didn't you know I was deep?? How could you have missed that after all these years??? ROFL!
Good Saturday morning (opps mid-morning) to all. Got up at 7:30 to send dh off to Springfield for the weekend. He has a bowling tournament. I just didn't think I could take a weekend of cigarette smoke, so I stayed home. Was hoping to have the house picked up by now, but I just don't feel up to snuff. My head is just kinda "woozie". I don't know, just seems to feel funny especially when I move my head suddenly. Hope it's just allergies, but it's definitely weird.
Anyway, I've got to tackle the mountain of ironing and must, must must start studying for Bible Bowl competition. The test is the 28th and I told ds I'd beat him. We're studying Revelation and my poor brain just doesn't retain info like it used to. I really thought this would be a breeze because I've studied it twice in the past 10 years and each time took about a year and a half to complete, but if anyone is familiar with these competitions, they are brutal. You have to know it frontwards and backwards. I used to could listen, take notes and own the material - not so any more. LOL
I'd better get going or it will be noon before I'm even dressed.

Ryleigh asked me to check in for her and see if you ladies had anything exciting happening on the boards. She is feeling left out of your private little world this last week.
She had a bit of an attack last Sunday evening and has been hospitalized since then. They say it's pnemonia However you spell it). She was on oxygen for three days but is doing much better now just weak. Hopes to be home by Mon. or Tues. .
She sends a big 'Hello' to all and says to tell you that she knows she will be better soon. She finally saw a robin. Now that's a motivator if I ever heard one.
Take care
Brian :star:
Wow Ryleigh- I hope you feel better soon. Get all the rest that you can in the hospital (not an ideal place to be sick, in my opinion- so don't go there again ok?). And when you get home, Brian and the kids can do the housework, while you lay in the sun, counting birds and restoring your strength with your favorite herbal tea. They can plump your pillows and adjust your afghan every 30 minutes or so. This process may take several days (or even weeks!!) so don't rush it. ;)
Seriously, don't mess around with trying to do too much too soon. Take care.
PS...Brian if you want to whine about how hard it is to do it all, when your spouse is ill, feel free to come here and vent. We're good listeners.

:) Happy Saturday! :)
It was awful!!! My poor dog HATES the thunder and was shaking so bad... she couldn't find a good place to hide where she felt safe. She finally ended up jumping into my bed and cuddling up next to me... which she's usually not allowed to do, but I felt sorry for her and let it go this time. LOL
I always considered myself SO lucky because when my kids were little they were very heavy sleepers... NOTHING ever woke them up... including thunderstorms. Wouldn't you know I'd just HAVE to end up with a wimpy dog??? LOL
Today was icky too... awfully windy. The temp started out at almost 60 this morning and went downhill from there. I think it's about 30 now but feels like it's 10. Burrrrr!!

LOL about your dog! :) I was so glad when the winds finally settled down. We went to my mom's yesterday and right outside of town we saw a semi on its side! :( Now if we can get thru this Spring without any major flooding. :nervous: The river here is pretty darn high right now and there's already flooded areas in my hometown.

If you don't mind my asking... where is your hometown? Flooding is bad. My parents live in Hastings and the River under the bridge is WAY up. It won't get to them but it will definitely get to a lot of others. The dog is doing much better too. She never did like thunder/lightening storms. She shakes like a leaf and will hide every time... poor baby! LOL

Still LOL about your dog! :) I grew up in Owatonna - nice little town south of "The Cities" :) on 35. It's only about 45 minutes from us which is nice.
