can't really do much till school's out, then we will go and set up..be back at 5 for the caterers and the deal starts at 6.
tonight after it's over, we are going out for margaritas! LOL

I'm so glad that this week is almost over!!! :yippee: It's been a long and crazy one. Ds had baskeball 3 nights in a row, I had a meeting also one night and tonight is ds's b-day slumber party.

Dh's team WON last night!! :happydnc: They are in the championship game next wknd!! Dks were great last night! It was a blast....except the part when youngest ds had a coughing attack and threw up all over me and himself!!! :\ :\ :\Why then and why me?? :rolleyes: Meeting some friends for lunch, hitting Kohls and then just hanging out tonight. Dh is going back to watch a game tonight - don't think we'll go with him though.

I bought the prettiest chocolate brown"suede" shirt..it can't be real it was only $19 but it is softer and more lush and a pair of real suede pants I have! I am wearing it with a pair of brown slacks to the brunch I am hosting Sunday.

I am so glad it friday too....got all my errand run for the week...doing laundry today...have a hair appt. Saturday...and Shopping and lunch with my girlfriend (kid less) Sunday....should be a good weekend...beautiful weather here still...8)

My Dad and his wife stopped by last night...had a nice visit....had to play the NO game with them...I hate that....she wants dh to photograph her sons wedding....Free no doubt...dh has already given up shooting weddings....especially for friends and family...you make no money on the deal...never enjoy yourself...and your wife is DATE LESS....I have told her twice already that he could recommend someone...but I get the feeling I will have to say it over and over with her...relentless or just not very bright :idea:

Dh will be home tonight! :) Between school and business I haven't seen much of him lately. Both my babysitters just had surgery so I'm having trouble finding someone to watch the kids so we can get out. I'm going shopping on Sunday after church, I have no idea who to shop for or what to get so I better start making a plan.

I really like my foux suede coat. It's sooo soft and washable too. Family Feasita night sounds like a blast. Do you think all the tickets were purchased by parents and family or were a lot of folks from the neighborhood involved? We made a $600 profit at our fall carneval last month. I thought that was pretty good.

Due to cuts in our school budget, we no longer have a school librarian so I had to return ds's book, find the proper card file and shelve the book myself this morning. Then I went into the office to check my PTA file. Two of the staff members, Patty and Sharron were at the front desk. I noticed the 70 lb. case of copy paper that my dh had brought home on the bus as a donation was still on the floor where Patty told me to leave it. When I brought the box in yesterday, Patty just said with a sneer on her face "Is that all? Why don't you just leave it in the corner". I don't like Patty. (Out of all the staff members that had to lose their jobs at our school this year, why couldn't one of them have been hers?) Anyway...I saw the box and looked up at Patty and Sharron and said "Is that box of copy paper something the school can use because my husband ask his boss to donate it". Sharron looked surprised and "Sure we can always use paper. Let's put it in the cupboard". Patty got out her box knife and started complaining about the amount of tape holding the lid on and Sharron and I put it in the cupboard. You know... I realize that since I became PtA president, I basically volunteered to be a slave to the school for a year, and I don't expect any big Thank Yous, but I would really appreciate it if Patty wouldn't treat me as a big usless piece of inconvience. It just irks me! :{

End of another work day here. There was no school due to the high school volleyball team making it to state, so I had some extra kids.

Dh should be home soon and then we're going to go out for pizza before going bowling tonight.

Tomorrow is opening day of rifle season for deer so dh, ds #1 & probalby dd #1 are getting up early to, hopefully, get a deer. I'm sleeping in!!

I think we made some progress on the house yesterday. We've figured out how we can make the down payment if we can get an equipment and improvement loan from another agency we're talking to we should be all set!

Better get some supper fixed for the kids. I, almost, feel bad that that I'm leaving the kids home again tonight after being gone all day.

Well today has been busy. I went to work at the school this morning. Then I went to work at the Veterinary hospital. We were very busy there. I finally got home, and am going to start supper as soon as I am done here.

My fortune cookie said "an small investment will see big returns", so I went a bought a lotterty ticket on the $15 million draw tonight! :lol: :lol:

Dh got a huge contract yesterday to do the city's website! :happydnc: We are soooo happy!

Got the ornaments all finished and ready to mail. Guess I will have to wait until Monday now though...no post over the weekend.

They actually got to play there last night and we go back there next week. :thumb: It must be an awesome experience for those boys on the team. Dh is just so darn excited for them. :yippee:
