Harry Potter 2

Dh and I both had the day off yesterday...no school for dks...so we went to a large outlet mall. It was fun, and while we were there we passed a movie theater. Just out of curiousity, my dh went in to check if the 2:00 p.m. show for Harry Potter was sold out (opening day and all). It was the ONLY show that wasn't sold out...and only 15% full! So, we decided to go, making our boys DELIRIOUSLY happy!!!!!!!!:* :* I had told them we'd go next week, and not fight the opening day crowds. It was a great movie. I actually liked it better than the first HP movie. Long movie though...over 2 1/2 hours.

I love HP!! I can't wait to go and see the movie. The next book is finished. Rowlings says she is going to tweek it a bit then it will go to the editors. It "should" be out within the next 6 months. She also said that it is longer than goblet of fire. This is getting rediculous, but I am hooked so I will be reading it however long it is. :read:

Dh took the boys yesterday to see it. They all said it was great and better than the first one.

Like I said, all of the remaining showings of HP were completely sold out for the remainder of the day/night. I think 2 pm (on a school day for most kids) turned out to be very lucky for us!!!:)

I will give you my critique tomorrow. :newwink: I didn't enjoy the second book as much as any of the others so we will have to see. I heard that it is kinda scary and much darker than the first one. I can't wait! :lol:

Alright saw the movie and I did enjoy it better than the first movie but it is not my favorite movie. My fiance says that I shouldn't have expected too much since I didn't like the book as much but still. I think that they could have done a little better job on Moaning Myrtle. I was expecting a little more frumpy looking. I mean that is why she was teased. Her voice was perfect though. I loved the entrance to the chamber :* that was cool!! I didn't like the parseltounge language that they used; it should have sounded more like a snake and less like a literal language.
They also did a great job on the bassilisk (sp?). He was creepy. :nervous: :biglaugh:
