Good morning -- rainy day here and dd still has her fever (102 a while ago). Looks like a dr. visit tomorrow if it doesn't break.... :\

I'm off to church, I've got the 5/6 year olds during children's church at the early service, so I better get my lipstick on and get out of here.

Have a good day, ya'll!

Hope your dd is feeling better. Is she complaining of a sore throat? You think it's strep throat?

Getting ready to put a load of laundry  right now.

We ended up getting a babysitter last night (the in-laws) and went out for dinner with 2 other couples. It was really nice. We ended up at an Italian restaurant who had a live band after 9:00.

No pressing plans today except working on all my cards , shoveling the snow, laundry and hockey :)

Happy Sunday to all!

We're off to church in a few minutes, then I might go out shopping again. dd wants a Fur Real kitty for Christmas and I can't find one anywhere. I'm going to try a few more stores but it looks like Santa won't be able to bring that one:( I have to make my menu for the baby shower I'm having Tuesday, and go grocery shopping too. I guess that mountain of laundry needs to be done as well.... looks like a busy day

It's a rainy, sleety, icy kind of a mess around here this morning. It's supposed to change to accumulating snow later. Yippee.....NOT!
Not too much planned this morning. I do need to get a few groceries. I may do a little catalog Christmas shopping. I will NOT leave all my shopping until the last minute this year....although it IS sort of a tradition.....LOL Maybe I'll actually write a few Christmas cards this year, too.

Have had a busy weekend. IT was DS#2's birthday on Friday, It is hard to believe that he is 5 now..

8o

Had the famil;y over for a little party, he got spoiled once again.
HAving a birthday party for him with his friends on Monday, at a indoor play ground, they have tubes, slides and ball pits that the kids can play on and run around. The best part is that they serve the food and drinks and no clean up for me.:yippee:

DS#1 has a bad cold too, up most of the night coughing:(
Baby is doing great, having trouble nursing now, he doesnt seem to get enough, so I am supplementing him. His cold is done now too.
Need to start Christmas shopping too, just dont know what to buy everyone?(
I am in the mood to decorate so I am going to try adn get my window lights up today and my window decorations.

Jen~ Hope DD feels better soon
Renee~Have Fun at Knotts Berry Farm. wish we had something like that here

Taking the downtown to get dd a Christmas dress. Then I need to do some research for a Anatomy presentation that I doing with my lab partners. A 30-something single mom and a 28 year old man who's last degree was in theater. We all had differant ideas of what we should present in class but Dr Mark thought my idea for a poster presentation on brittle bone disease was the most practical. It's really nice to work with people with strong opinions.

Stayed up too late last night watching Magnolia with dh. It was better than I thought it would be. I related to the part played by the nurse. It's a lot like my job only my client's not as sick.

It's fairly nice here. Sunny but kinda cool.

Dh went with a friend deer hunting this morning. He was supposed to be back for church but his friend got a deer and he didn't make it. His friend ate lunch with us.

Dh and ds #1 are about to head out to find theirs. I think I have to give them a ride from one side of the pasture to another.

Then it will be back here to finish my parent handbook for class. Around 5 I'm heading into town by myself to do a little Christmas shopping. Alco is having a customer appreciation sale and everything is 10% off. We almost bought some of the stuff the other day but decided we might as well wait until we can get it on sale. I have to get groceries too.

I hope everyone who's feeling under the weather gets to feeling better. If you're getting accumulating snow--I hope you get a snow day out of it!! :) (If so enjoy it for me!)

Dh needs me to go with him I'll be back to the boards after bit.
Have a good day!!

Not too much going on here today. I just got back from shopping with my mom. I didn't get aas much done as I had hoped. I am going to take off tomorrow and so some school work. If I get done in time, maybe I can do some more shopping.
It has been pretty cold here today, but the sun has shown for some of it, so it was pretty part of the day. I hope everyone else's days are good.

Jennifer- I hope your dd feels better soon! :)

Dh and I started our day by going out for breakfast... came home and read the Sunday paper and had a cup of coffee together. Dh's been redoing his workbench in the garage... so while he was in the garage doing that I decided to go run a few errands. I went to Fashion Bug to see if they had anything that I liked... but I couldn't find anything. Stopped off at the dollar store and picked a few things up from there and came home... where dh was waiting for me to help him. :yippee: LOL In between helping dh I worked on a few Christmas crafts and then cleaned the house. I can't believe the weekend is almost over with already... :\ as usual, it went way too fast.

Anyway... I hope you all had a great day today.

Diane...

Sure! :D It's just funny what we all consider cold according to what we are used to and how I'd think "your" cold is warm. ;)
