Welcome Lor. Are you close to Branson. We are about 2 hours from there. We try to catch a few shows several times a year.

LOL
You know, I don't miss the snow/ice but for one day a year..and that is on Christmas..it just doesn't feel the same if it isn't a white one.

However, I don't miss scraping 4 feet of snow off my car..or driving through whiteouts. I certainly don't miss stepping outside and losing your breath because it feels like you've just been dunked in a bucket of ice water. <GRIN>

I do miss the grocery stores - although we have some good one's here..they certainly are not.. Wegmans or Tops. I absolutely do miss the PIZZA (and I could whine for hours on that one)..seems here 'pizza' tastes exactly like velveeta cheese on a saltine, and I think that the saltines are actually thicker than the pizza's around here.

Okay enough of my whining =)

Funny what we get used to...I'm always open to the idea of a green Christmas. I really hate winter, but it CAN look pretty for a day or 2. LOL
I've lived around here almost all my life and I guess I can't imagine living in another climate. But there is a certain "we're all in this together" feeling to the cold season.

ROFL on the grocery lament!!

Welcome Wonderlor. I am a SAHM too and have a 3 yo too plus a 2 month old. I too can relate to not missing the snow except for that one day a year Christmas. I moved away from home
--Niagara Falls-- 5 years ago and don't miss the snow and ice at all.Good 'ol Wegmans and Tops. Sure do miss 'em . That and Casino Niagara. I go back to visit once a year and have to make a trip over the border while I'm there. Although they are starting a casino on the American side 12/31 woo whoo....
Well I look forward to chatting with you on the board.... Nic:snickers:

Remember a green Christmas isn't something sung about in Christmas carols and there is a reason for it. <GRIN>
I must admit I needed something to make me grin from ear to ear today =). Yes there is that feeling of "we're all in this together" mainly because you are snowed in.. LOL

And WWWAAAAHHHH I do miss my grocery stores!!! LOL
