My step-sister (41) has been battling breast cancer for the last 5 years. Or at least, it started in the breast.
It has since moved into the bone, the liver and now the brain.
She has had treatments and seemed to have always come out on top - she is a very strong woman and has done everything she can to save her life.
Last week, her stomach began to fill with fluids, and another brain tumor was found. Today, she had full brain radiation and is now hospitalized because she is "not responsive". My information is vague, but it is sounding like, to us, she is comatose.
PLEASE pray for her husband and 3 children and that the Lord will do what he sees best, although it may be the most painful thing they have ever had to live through, and that the family has the strength to come through it.
She comes from a very close family (she is the baby girl) and as it happens, her mother died from breast cancer as well.
I would appreciate you sending all good wishes to the family as we wait to see what the next 48 hours hold.
