Howdy,

Just found out that our Church meeting scheduled for tonight that I am in charge of - will be at my house.

Our Church building is being painted, and we are forced to move it. So.... My house is the winner. Anyone want to come help me clean????

Actually on Sat., I mopped, vacumned, and cleaned the bathrooms. I am going to tackle the garage for that is the largest room to fit about 30 people. Tomorrow I will be exhausted that's for sure, but the garage will be cleaned out. Lookin on the brighter side!!!

Have a great day everyone!!

Hate the surprise factor too, kacee. Good luck.

A pretty regular day for me. 2 people have already called in sick this morning. Ugh! Oh well, it'll work out. It always does. Hope you all have a good and productive day....

Morning!
Home w/dd again today - she's at about 95% so back to school tomorrow, I'd say.

Have that same laundry to do today that I mentioned yesterday.... and pick up the house. Figure we may be making a trip before too long.... (see post "Desperate for prayers").

I don't have tons on my agenda today. While my kids were in school yesterday, I hit Wal-Mart and bought all of ds's Christmas presents. It was really bizzare for me to just go up and down the aisles and whip things in the cart and whip out the credit card. I usually like to stew about items and see where I can get them cheaper. LOL My deals internet site I use, hasn't come up with anything spectacular, so I'm afraid the deals will be few this year.

Still haven't heard anything from the realtor. Since I haven't, I can assume the other contract is still on. :( That is okay, because there is another house I LOVE and its only $249,000 dollars!!:* NOT!!

Sorry you're feeling bad - hope it's not strep!! ;)

I started feeling like my throat was getting tight last night, but couldn't tell if it REALLY was or if it was all in my head!!

Boy, taking a day off feels like a week, lol. But that's not necessarily a bad thing :)

Work today, meeting after dinner at ds's school re: a trip they are taking in February. Have to give them a $40 deposit by next Wednesday and then another $100 the week after the new year. I hate it when school trip expenses are so close to, and after, Christmas :(

I'm making the last preparations for the baby shower I'm having here tonight. Here's a question for somebody, does Bailey's need to be refridgerated? Can you tell I don't drink:) Dh is out of town or I would ask him. I'm going to serve it with coffee if that makes a difference. I also bought some white zinfandel does that need to be refridgerated? Guess I should start paying attention when Dh is taking care of the drinks.

Morning all. Not too much going on here today. I didn't have to work again today, so I have been working on more school work. I must say it is coming right along. (I hope) I also intend to make a dent in the house today. Hope everyone has a great day! :D

Morning all....Had a Blast at Knott's yesteday....we got there when it opened and left when it closed :goofy:....Dh and I had so much fun watching these kids explore and delight in some of the rides and games....I even went with ds on the scariest rollercosters, Montezumas revenge....but it was so worth it to see his little face light up afterward while telling his father what it was REALLY like.....it was scary and fast...LOL....the things we do for our kids....took tons of pictures hope they turn out good....:)

Dh ran off to work early today to catch up for not being there yesterday....I was dead alseep and the door bell rang at 8 am...I forgot they are painting the outside of our house this week...I'm up, I'm up...LOL....I am exhausted from all the walking yesterday...and then my shopping spree on Sunday...taking it easy today...light housework and some laundry....

its beautiful outside too...maybe we will hit the park...high of 88 expected.....8)

Yes, white wine needs to be refridgerated.
The Bailey's depends..if you are going to serve it in the coffee, no...if you are doing it straight up on the side, no...or you can serve it on the rocks.

Oh thanks Ann, the wine is in the fridge and I'm leaving the Bailey's out. I've still got to make some Tuxedo Brownies for tonight and I should run the vaccuum through the house real quick too.

Renee- glad the kids had fun. I went to Knottsberry when I was 7 and I still remember it(much better than the tour of the Queen Mary Mom and Dad forced us on)

Woke up to more snow this morning. Can't see the grass anymore... winter's here. I'm thankful for the light fluffy snow as it's not as icy any more.

Just a typical dc day here. I have 3 right now, but one leaves soon and the other two and I are going to the store to get Spirit. It comes out today along with the new Shaina Twian cd. We'll probably spend some time playing at the playland too. One of the mom's forgot her ds's snow boots and snow pants at home! I don't have an extras that small.

Nothing planned for tonight... just watching Real World and doing more laundry!

Renee- I'm so glad that you had a good time. If your ds like Montezumas revenge- just wait until he's bigger and can go to Magic Mountain!!! :D

Ann- Hope you're feeling better soon! Being sick STINKS!! :\

Hi all. Just stopping in while the chicken marinates.
Sorry to hear so many of you/your children are under the weather. Hope everyone gets feeling better soon.

Renee...I was at Knotts Berry Farm when I was 8....really don't remember much....we had pictures, but lost them in the house fire. Was there a giant turtle there???

Our snow has almost all melted. After having the coldest October in 150 yrs, it is now above normal temps for the past week. Weird weather! Hate temps like this now though....just makes everything icy!

Gonna sit down and make some snowflakes tonight....decorations for my libraries are at a minimum. I make plastic ones out of the holders of 6pack drink cans and thought I'd make some good old paper ones too.

:)

Another day is almost to a close!
I woke up feeling just awful. I'm on 2 meds for the hiatel (sp?) hernia and I ran out of the one I take before bed. So I wake up feeling bloated and yuck!!!

Luckily I didn't have to work until 10:30 so I was feeling a little better by then.

We didn't have too many kids today so it was a nice day.

Had to leave my car at the 'fix it shop" cause my lights don't want to stay on.

Came home and I need to get working on homework for tomorrow night.

Hope everyone's feeling better soon.
