update on prayer need

First, thanks for all the prayers being sent........

I just heard from a sister-in-law who spoke to my step-dad tonight and the doctors say they can't do anything more for my step-sister.

She's a little more alert, speaking a few words and seemed to recognize her children. She's sedated and on a morphine drip for her pain...........

Jen I'm so sorry for your step sister and of course her family. I cannot imagine how difficult it must be for them all. I hope she is able to find some peace. Prayers to you.

The dr. says she has about 24 hrs...... unless she's trying to hold on until Friday - her birthday - which if she is, the dr. will help her do that.

Mom talked to her husband today and he said she had wanted to come home for T'giving, so he'll be "bringing her home" next Friday for a memorial service and to have her ashes buried @ church. Breaks my heart.
