fast week?
DS is home sort of croupy, but really more of a cold..he just barks whenever he coughs. I am still stuffed up but feel a little better..may try to hit the treadmill.
DD has dance this afternoon..that's about it for me.

Good Morning! Our school is closed for the second day in a row, there was an electrical fire in the boiler room late Monday 8o Dks are thrilled but it sure throws a wrench into my work schedule. Yesterday a friend took the girls for me so I could go to work, today I have taken the day off and have her kids. Hopefully things will be back to normal by tomorrow. We just played outside for an hour and a half, beautiful mild day with just enough snow to slide and make snowmen.

Ann sorry to hear ds is under the weather, hope you are both feeling better soon.
Work today. I think it might be kind of mild here today, too, Kathy! Enjoy your day. Ann, hope you and your ds feel better soon. Having dinner at my Dad's tonight and have some chicken out, but hoping something creative comes to me for cooking it, lol. Fitness after dinner. Amazing Race fans, I heard it's on at 8 tonight instead of 9. I'm wondering if that's because of the Bachelor choosing tonight...well, at least I'll get to watch both then :)

I'm finally starting to feel a little better. I've been taking extra vitamin C's, Echinacea and drinking LOTS and lots of water along with gargelling. Ugh! Now dh was up coughing with it all night... :rolleyes: Not fun! :)
Nothing too much going on with my day today... pretty much same as usual. I REmade all of my Christmas ornaments (ornament exchange) last night (into a smaller form) because the ones I had origionally made ended up being too big/bulky to send in a regular envelope. 8o I'll probably get them out in the mail tomorrow...
Picking my mom up later after work and going out to eat, and then off to Target to pick up some perscriptions. I'm hoping to get home early enough so I can get comfy on the couch and rest a little more. Anything good on tv tonight? I recorded Judging Amy last night and I still have to find some time to watch that... the previews for it looked really good. Anyway... I hope you all have a good day today! Take care...

Not much going on...went to class....came home gonna take a nap...finish my homework and go back to class.
I'm determined to be a good student for the next 3 weeks and go to all my classes:)

I can't believe its Wed. already....ds has a dental appointment today....and we are hitting the supermarket after that....
I am exhausted...and have the head cold thing...I think its allergies....we are getting hit with the Santa Ana winds right now and they can be brutal to your nasal passages....:sick:

Renee, did you read White Oleander? Apparently your nasal passages aren't they only things bothered by the Santa Ana winds!

Hi there,
Well I finally made it on to post, the baby is in my arms watching me right now. I cant believe that he is going to be a month on Sat 8o
Trying to get the house organized today, have the dishwasher running right now. Started decorating for Christmas too. Have all my candle holders out and my santas. THe tree will go up the will go up after Dec 10th.
Also have DCK"s today but I am hoping that they will be picked up early today, so I can get a few groceries. Also need to pick up some envelopes sp I can mail out the ornaments(hopfully I can get them out Fri or Sat) Sat for sure.
Been having trouble nursing still, so I suplementing more than I would like..I figure it wont hurt him(he needs to eat..LOL) I am not producing enough and he gets frustrated and keeps pulling himself off, then I get fusturated.
An unusally nice day today, 50 out there, so DS#2 and one dck went out to the deck to play hockey..DS#1 is at school.
Ann hope you and DS feel better soon.

just wanted to say WOW, your doing so good....nursing wasn't easy for ds either...and I supplemented through my entire nursing experence with him....6 months...he was just always wanting more than I could produce ;) (boys/Men) :lol:
sounds like your enjoying him and getting ready for the holidays too....Hang in there...great to see you posting....WOW one month already....

Good Afternoon everyone! My work day is half over and I just can't wait to go home.
Weather is rather mild not to cold but definitely not swimming weather. :( This fluctuation between really cold and kinda warm is going to get me sick along with rest of you!! :lol: Really though, I hope all of you get better soon. I know it is terrible to be sick. Especially around the holidays when there is so much to do and prepare for.
Not too much planned for this evening that I know of yet. I have been wanting to take a trip to the city and visit with my sister and my best friend. I haven't done that in a while. Oh well. eventually.
I am also getting ready for a trip down to Louisiana. We go every year to visit my grandfather. This year we will be leaving on the 20th of Dec. I am already getting clothes together, and buying new ones. Taking my vacation days, and saving money. I have to get plans set for renting a car while we are there. I hate being without a car and this time I know that there is a car rental place in the town. The town is so small that there really isn't anything to do but drive around and go shopping. Right up my alley!!:*

I'm finally getting back to normal. It's been a long week for me. Dd2 has a choral concert tonight, so that'll be fun. And then it's home and to bed. I can't believe it's only a week until Thanksgiving. How'd it sneak up so fast???
On another thought, tomorrow is the Great American Smokeout. I can't believe I don't qualify for the first time in 22 years. I've been smoke free for 2 months. Yahoo!!

Man oh man I wish it were Friday. The only thing more stressful than getting 20 5 year olds to do a 30 minute program is trying to get 80 to do it. Four of us went in together to do this Thanksgiving program. After 3 rehearsals today, I think it's coming together. Worked last night till 8:30 on the set, and sound. Then caught the last half of the boys BBall game. Came from behind to tie with 3 seconds left. End bounded and took it to center court where we made a hail Mary shot that banked in. It was great. Need to down load the video clip for dh since he stayed home last night.
Then I couldn't sleep last night. I kept singing I'm a Mighty Fine Turkey. LOL. Came home, hit the whirpool, sent dh to church with a dessert and my apologies to the college group, checking in here, going to post grades on 5th week reports to go home tomorrow, going to watch The Bachelor, then taking a sleeping pill and going to try to get some sleep before the big performance in the morning.

Had a family emergency Monday, so I have been out of town since then. Feels good to be home, but without going into detail - we still have some battles ahead of us. :( Please say prayers for us as we face the road ahead.
