Good morning everyone it is almost 7:00 AM. here and I am getting ready to go to work. Just thought I would check at any replys from last night. I really enjoy going to the message boards. I guess because it is all knew. I hope to meet new friends, on here around my age, so far it seems everyone is so young. See you after work today. Have a Great Day:D

Woke up this morning... dh has a cold and woke me up with his coughing. Ugh!! Needless to say... I didn't get too much sleep last night. Bedtime will come none too soon tonight, I'm sure.

We woke up to a little bit of snow :\ :\ on the ground this morning... YUCK!!! I went outside and scraped dd and dh's car windows... they're usually running late and of course never seem to have the time (especially dd) to do that kind of stuff so instead of letting her go off to school with frosty windows (and not seeing a thing) I decided I'd better do it. I'm SO not ready for winter... wish it was all done/gone and over with. LOL

Nothing too much planned today. I've got my part-time new family today and tomorrow. The oldest little boy's attention span is like... zero so he's a hard one to keep busy. It's hard when they're part-time because they never seem to settle in and really get to know the rules... so I'm hoping that today will be a better day for him. Sure makes for a long day though.

Were invited over to my mom's tonight for dinner to celebrate my oldest sister's birthday. I haven't seen or talked to her since my dd's wedding in July so it will be interesting. The last time I saw her she was quite heavy... but my mom informs me that she's lost a TON of weight and is now wearing the same size that I am. 8o I'm really anxious to see her. :)

Anyway... I hope you all have a good day. Tomorrow's Friday already... YIPPIE!!! :yippee:

Morning. I still have a cold but feeling somewhat human. DS is doing his best imitation of a ****er spaniel..he is missing two tests today! He has a huge campout this weekend, but if he is not better by tomorrow am, he won't be going and he is so disappointed.
DD has brownies this afternoon.

I only got about 4 hours of sleep last night. I had night class and then made the mistake of going to Walmart! 8o I only needed a couple things, but they sure were expensive!!!

When I got home dh and I had some stuff to work on for our meeting at the bank this afternoon for the preschool loan. Since we hadn't seen each other, except in passing, all day we talked for a while too.

Luckily I don't go into work for about an hour.

I've been working on laundry and I mopped the kitchen floor (with lilac scented bubble bath--smells wonderful in here!!)

The owner of the daycare where I'm working now called me yesterday and offered to sell me the daycare. (She actually caught dh at work before I returned her call. ) We told her that it wasn't big enough for what we wanted to do. It made me feel better about doing all this though. So now the hardest part of all this will be leaving the kids that go there. :bigcry:

I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday!! and next week is a short week because of Thanksgiving!!!:happydnc: I need to get lights up and the house in order so I can put up the tree next Friday or Saturday!!!!!

Haven't had much sleep this week, so I am tired but am glad to have a busy day ahead. Both dks have school. Oldest ds has "family" day today, so we are all going to his class to talk about us. :) Youngest ds has an end of the quarter party, so I will go to that with him and then he is off until January. Oldest ds has his first conference tonight!! 8o

We have had deer in our garden almost every day - I love it!!!! Yesterday youngest ds and I sat on the deck and just watched them.

We also still have the nuisance dog here every day. Today I went out and found Christmas lights chewed up and strewn all over the yard! :{ I am sending dh over to talk to the owner again!! :{ I wonder if he'll decide to invest his $$ in a kennel instead of replacing everything his dog destroys over here? ?(

I have a great easy day today and after yesterday I need it! 8o

I'm beginning to become overwhelmed with things and I'm wondering if I'm starting to go into a depression thing like I did last year... that whole SAD thing. I didn't think it was really a real thing until I started having issues last year. My Dr. did tell me last winter to watch it because it could happen every winter. Not what I wanted to hear. I think I'm going to schedule an appt to go in a sun room. It's not a tanning booth or anything, it's just a room where the light mimics the sun. I also know that excersize helps too- but when do I have time for that. Seems like I always have something going on! Maybe I'll try and take a walk tonight after dinner with the kids. It's icy out, but not too bad.

Survivor night... :yippee:

Karla- can't you call the pound when you see that the dog is out? Seems like a real pain in the butt!

Hello everyone,

Not to busy today, Have 3 DCK's adn DS#2 has hockey after school. Both DS's were excited for school today since it was hot lunch day and Pajamma day today.

Just doing some laundry and basic tidy up, hoping to get more decorations put up today. I'm having a cup of tea, skimming my cookbooks for something new, and doing laundry. I cleaned the silk plants today, they were so dusty it was tempting to just throw them in the trash. I guess just another exciting day in the burbs. Dh is on vacation next week so I'm trying to think of some family activities to do.

Evening all! At work...Again. My day started out rotten. I have been cranky all morning. Not sure why. Must have been the weather. Cold, rainy and dreary. :( My fiance and I had a little spat, but I can't even remember what about. Just one of those days that I feel like being difficult.

Then I got to work and had to deal with a Community Service worker with the biggest teenage attitude. He was caught starting fires behind the high school 8o and now that he has hours to complete I get stuck with him. :{ He had the nerve to roll his eyes when I told him to do something. I wish that I could shake some sense into him. I felt like telling him to get out and not come back, but being the nice person I am I simply told him that if he didn't want to wash tables and shelving units that I could send him out in the rain to pick up garbage instead and that if I continued to receive attitude that I would not allow him to finish his service hours with us. After that it became Yes Mamam anything you say Mamam. Chalk one up for me! :)

Later I had to run to the post office before they closed and my supervisor said sure go ahead. I left work went to the post office and when I got back. 8o 8o SURPRISE!!!8o 8o They had put together a B-day party for me early! My mood definitely improved. So now I am a happy person. It is wonderful when people think of you. I guess that it was good that I had to run to the post office. My co-workers were thankful. And I was too. I feel bad about my little stint earlier though. :(

It is rather slow today at work, I guess the rain is keeping them away. Have a good evening and a great morning tomorrow!

Well the Thanksgiving program is over. It went surprisingly well. My kids were great. I did have an extra pair of hands. I had a college student scheduled to do a one day observation. At first I thought what an awful time to have someone observing. Then I thought hey another set of hands will be good. She turned out to be great. She was there before 8:00 and I put her to work.

Kids are out tomorrow, but I have in-service. Two days next week then a 5 day break. Of course most of that time will be spent deep cleaning this house for the Christmas company.

Hope the sun room helps. If not I think there are some meds that can help to get you thru the season. Hang in there!!

We have no leash laws, so they can't pick it up. I also found out our Humane Society may be shut down - some bad people got control of it and they are euthanizing all of the animals they take in. :( Dh needs to talk to the guy again and hopefully he'll get sick of paying us. Today the dog was here no less than 4 times for at least 2 hours total! Grr!!
