Why are Monays....

always so grey and gloomy first thing in the morning that it is the one day that the kids want to sleep in :sleep: . Why is it that on the weekends, when there is no place to rush to , that they get out of bed extra early? :lol:

Something is wrong with our dog!!! :bigcry:
We got home last night and she was standing right by the door which is unusual and she kept right by us, then she just started laying down on the floor sort of shaking..it's like maybe her back leg(s) are hurt. She didn't sleep on the bed with me..VERY unusual. I am taking her to the vet at 9:30. The kids are really worried.

Have workmen coming today to finish the last bit of stuff.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dog Ann... is it an old dog? I'll keep my fingers crossed and say a little prayer that she'll be okay. Let us know!

I also woke up to a very gloomy morning. I wouldn't mind it so much but the kids are on spring break this week and it would have been nice to start out with a nice day spent outside. I've only actually got one extra child, while two of my regular full time are going to be gone all week, so I really don't have EXTRA kids... it's just that the one who is normally not here but will be, is a handfull. :(

I have the same guy's who put my new heating system coming in today to install my air conditioning. I'm looking forward to getting that all done and over with. I hope it doesn't take them all day to get it done though. I really don't like a bunch of strangers running in and out of my house all day... especially when I'm trying to do day care. I usually keep my front door locked and I'm not use to hearing the doors opening and closing all day like that. I jump every time it opens. LOL

The sun is actually peeking thru today! :yippee: Dh is home sick today and hasn't even been up yet. He thought he was getting a BAD cold, but now he also has the flu. :( We leave for FL on Wed so I am hoping the rest of us stay healthy. :nervous:

Today is absolutely beautiful just like the whole weekend was. All I can say is....it's about time!!! It is supposed to hit 80! This morning we are going to playgroup. My nephew will be here now that he is over his bout with shingles. We will probably decorate some more eggs later today if we aren't outside playing.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dog ann, I hope she's ok. They are so pitiful when they are hurt aren't they? Makes you realize even more how much we love them. Please let us know how she makes out when you get a chance.

Sorry to hear about your dog, please let us know how it goes at the vet. sunny here, we actually are going out in the yard again today, got all my gardens raked out, and trimmed up some old flowers {I think that's what they were...LOL} Max the wonder pup dug a huge hole in my lawn, and had to be hosed off because he was so incredibly black with mud...the kitchen floor is a mess and I am going out side...LOL...I'll take care of that tonight....Love the sun, this is exactly what I needed....going to transfer balance our HUGE credit card debt, and then I am taking the day off.....just puttering in my yard....

Magic is only 3. The vet thinks that she pulled a muscle so he gave her a cortisone shot, and some anti-inflamatories and she is on bed rest for a week! LOL
I honestly thought that someone had either broken in or was in the house last night by the way she was acting at first..standing by the back door and basically blocking our entrance into the house.

I'm glad that he thinks she'll be okay. I'll bet you were a little nervous walking into the house with her acting like that. It was almost as if she were blocking you from entering into a dangerous situation. LOL Take care of your ddog... hope you some big improvements real fast. :)

LOL not to be the downer but this is the first Monday that it has been crystal clear and HOT here in so long! It was a beautiful day! Hope you all have nice weather and sunny mondays soon!

Today was just beautiful here. Woke up an hour later than I was supposed to because dh didn't have to go in til 7:30, but he forgot to tell me and I didn't set my alarm. Didn't get my meditation and walk in this morning. while I was out with the dog, I saw a hummingbird come to my empty feeders that I had not taken down in the Fall. He won't be telling his friends about my house. I had a million things to do at school today during block time, but spent half my time just visiting. Then I sat down to get serious and the office called and said the counselor had cancelled her kdg. guidance classes this week and my kids were being sent back from Gifted and Talented and would not go to guidance. Now I'm really behind. The secretary then comes to tell me, "Do you know how beautiful today its?'' I only wish I could have enjoyed it.

Quick trip home, to throw on some dinner, then back to school for the school board meeting. Tomorrow will be the same, because I have a PTO meeting.

Oh, I did get a retroactive raise for this year!

Sorry I didn't get back here yesterday to send you some sun - maybe you got some of it today though because there's not a sign of it here! :( At least the snow is gone! :yippee:
