bathing question Shower/bath~am/pm?

ok, my dd loves baths....usually at night....but sometimes she actually has time before school for one, since she is in the afternoon Kindergarden....

ds always a shower in the am before school....although lately I have a hard time getting water and soap on him anytime of the day....

so what is the prefferance at your house?

Oldest ds likes to shower every morning and ds has a shower at night time.

Both kids usually only have a bath when they are sick.

I get up about 15 minutes earlier than dh in the mornings so I can take my shower before him. My dd's take their's in the evening before they go to bed, so that way they won't have to wake up too early (earlier than me) in order to get the bathroom... and they don't DARE budge in on MY time. (and they've tried... :\ ) They don't want to wake up any earlier than they HAVE to... so it really hasn't been a big problem. We've got two bathrooms, but dh has yet to get the second one finished off enough to be able to actually use it so... 8o It was REALLY fun when dd #1 moved back home before she got married. Five people and one bathroom just didn't quite cut it. LOL

I love to have baths! I like relaxing ones in the evenings. I usually shower/bathe in the a.m. though because my hair is so fine and limp that I have to wash it every day.

DS takes his shower or bath in the evenings.

DH takes his whenever the mood strikes, but mostly when he gets home from work.

For dks it's usually at night. Oldest ds likes baths and showers and will do whichever he is in the mood for. Youngest ds still hates getting his hair washed and is a battle to get in the tub. :\

Dh and I usually shower in the morning...not together. LOL!

DH showers every Morning...DK'S bath at night before bed, it seems to relax them and makes it easier for them to fall aseep.

I bath at night after the kids are asleep, I call it My time..I take my book in adn a drink and soak for about an hour...some days I look very forward to my "bath"...

Also if we are going out for dinner or something I will try grab a shower before.

That just reminded me of something my in-laws said to me in Florida. It was the last day and we were all rushing into to the shower to freshen up before the flight. Dh and I still had to go, and we were running late. They said, "why don't you just shower together?" :o I almost fell off my chair :o :biglaugh:

Dh showers in the mornings. Ds likes to shower at night. I do both. When I do use the treadmill, I shower in the mornings right after, but I much prefer to shower at night with scented shower gels and then use the same scented body creams or lotions. Then crawl between crisp, clean sheets and smell great.

I absolutely can't stand not having a shower or bath in the morning. Just feel ICK all day. If it's really cold I'll take a bath and not wash my hair some mornings but that usually makes me feel slightly ICK too.

The 4 youngest kids take baths at night. Oldest ds take a shower in the morning but he takes like 20 minute ones!8o

Dh showers after work.

We have 2 bathrooms but there is something wrong with the basement drain that we can't figure out. We have had so much water back up in our basement that we just quit using the shower and tub down there. 7 people is quite a few to use one tub/shower. Thank goodness the toilet downstairs still works!

Dh and I shower in the morning. I'm not a real "bath" fan...and we have a huge jacuzzi tub in our master bath! I just don't find baths real relaxing...don't know why?? Dh loves a bath when he can fit one in.

Ds1 takes showers...almost always at night. Ds2 will take either a bath (he LOVES to soak!!! Whose child is he????( ;) ) or a shower at night. Sometimes on weekends, ds1 will ask to take a shower in the morning. I think he feels grown up when he does that. :)
