Made it home today! Thanks for all the well wishes guys. It makes the recovery that much quicker.
I have to take it slow for a bit but I'm starting to feel back on top of things. Just gonna sit back and get spoiled for a bit. :)
I may have made it home quicker but had to be restricted on meds. because of what was discovered upon my addmitance to the hosp.
Apperently, we came home from Florida with an extra passenger on board.8o
Talk about a surprise. dd isn't too sure she likes the idea but ds thinks it's great. I don't know how I feel. I'm still in shock. We thought those days were behind us.
Brian is bringing a laptop home from the office for me to use for a week or two.:D Then I can chat and get caught up on the soaps all at the same time. Maybe being sick won't be so bad afterall, now that the worst has passed
Thanks again. I've missed you! :groupofgr

Well congratulations! So they do routine pregnancy tests when you go into the hospital? Thank goodness they found out! How old are your other kids?
Best wishes to you!
You're pregnant??? WOW! Congratulations! How far along are you?

:) Congrats Ryleigh!! :) My sister got pregnant "unexpectedly" 4 yrs after her second ds. I always say if that happens then it was meant to be. :) So glad you're feeling better. Enjoy the time you get to rest and hopefully you won't have "morning sickness" on top of everything else!

Sorry to confuse so many of you!!LOL but yes I am pregnant. About a month.
They don't routinely do a pregnancy test when addmitting you to the hosp. but did ask if there was any possibility. I said " I guess the possibility is there but I doubt it" They ran the test anyway and "SURPRISE". 8o
After the reality of it set in and I lay there thinking about it I realized that some other symptoms had begun to show as well. I just thought I had a bit of the flu.
dd still does not like the idea. She is having a hard time dealing with it. A lot of mood swings and temper tantrums.:tearhair: She won't tell us why it is bothering her so much. Hopefully in time she will open up.
ds on the other hand thinks it's going to be great being a big brother. He has the whole thing planned out.
{It's gong to be a boy who we will name Cujo - after Curtis Joseph the Toronto Maple Leafs goal tender, They will share his room and get bunk beds. He has even bought (with money from his piggy bank) an mini Maple Leafs hockey stick for "my brother"} We have tried explaining that the baby may not be a boy but he just insists that it is - he knows these things.:)
I am feeling much more myself these days. Energy level is coming back up but still taking it easy. Off work for another week and we'll see where we go from there.

Amy/CO -- I can garentee it wasn't a lizard. Anything creepy crawly like that and you wouldn't need a computer to hear me-- I would be screaming. :frog:
I likely would have been in the hosp. for a heart attack instead.
Ryleigh...Cujo, like the killer dog in Stephen King's book??? LOL
Congrats..glad you are feeling better. How old are dd and ds?
Congratulations Ryleigh on improved health and the new addition. You'll love the laptop. I checked one out at school for the weekend and now I'm convinced I must have one of my own.

I'm glad to hear that things are getting back to normal for you. Dd will get use to the idea. Maybe a little bit of jealousy with the thought of a new one (possibility of another girl) on the way?? How old is your dd and ds??? I'm glad that it wasn't a lizard or anything else... LOL, a baby is SOOO much better!!!
Bye...

dd just turned nine in March and ds will be five May 3rd.
I'm sure dd will get use to the idea in time, but in the mean time it's driving me crazy. She was so excited when ds came along. This is new to me.
ds is great but there is no way I am naming my child Cujo!lol

Your dd probably just needs some time to adapt to the situation. She is old enough to understand that there will be a lot of changes in your house. So....Cujo....great name. Can you imagine the teacher calling the names out for attendance:
Michael....here
Sally........here
Sarah......here
Mitchell....here
Cujo.....from the Maple Leafs?....here
:happydnc: :happydnc: :happydnc:
Where do you live Ryleigh? My son is a Toronto Maple Leaf fan too... our hometown.
