Good Morning! We are awaiting a HUGE storm, 30 cm!!! I can't wait, I love big snow storms. On my way out to get a few groceries and maybe a movie before it hits, I would imagine the grocery store is going to be insane.

I finally had a good sleep last night, my flu seems to have settled in my throat though, always a weak spot for me.

Can't believe it's back to school Monday, where did the break go?? Not ready for all the running around yet!! We have all been sleeping in a bit, so Monday morning should be a challenge

Enjoy your weekend!

Kathy, we have already received a lot of snow. We probably already got around 15 cm. Looks like it may have finally stopped snowing today.

I love the way the snow looks on the ground, I just don't love it on the roads

Back to regular schedules today.....that means hockey :yippee: Actually only youngest ds has a practice today, but they both have games tomorrow. They only have a couple more weeks of games and then they are into the playoffs already.

Back to school on Monday here too. That means back to work also for me :\ I kinda liked not having to get up in the morning at a certain time.

Happy snow day to all :frosty:

Good morning!! I'm dressed to my shoes already. I've been sooo lazy, I've got to get back into the swing of things.

Today we are cleaning Brichard's car and office. Also need to do the laundry. I'd like to have some friends over tonight for dinner and cards, but haven't invited anyone yet.

Target has made another cut on their Christmas clearance to 75%. I really want to go, but I'm not really in need of anything :D

Have a great day!!

Going to dinner for my brother's birthday later.. yummy! Have to run to Wal-Mart to get one more gift for him.... why do I seem to hit Wally world every other day?!!!! I need to buy stocks in that place!!!
Hope everyone has a great Saturday... All you snow bunnies keep warm!

Morning. We had family over last night to celebrate dh's birthday and my cousin's birthday. It was great fun but very bittersweet.
Not much on for today.. think I am going to work on organizing some drawers. Our kids go back on Tuesday.

Had our faculty/staff Christmas party last night. Very fun....but it was a late night! Yawn! Kind of dragging this morning. Both dks have basketball games. Of course, their games this week are at the same times (or close)...and at different facilities! It's a divide and conquer day for dh and I. This will be ds2's first basketball team experience. I'm excited for him! He'll look so cute running up and down the court.

Staying in tonight, and taking down the Christmas decorations. Thursday and Friday went by pretty quickly at school. It was nice only having a 2-day week! Next week it's back to the regular routine...5 WHOLE days!

Staying in the house today, we had a rain storm last night and the roads are like skating rinks today, so I think I'll just stay off of them. What a country Sunday 15cm of snow - Saturday a rain storm!!!
School starts back on Monday, although it's nice to have holidays and just get to relax I can't handle it for this long, I need my schedule.
Have a good weekend all

I have a cough and sore throat for sale to who ever wants it !!!!

I'm so tired. I was up most of the night with this stupid cough!! I finally get to sleep around 4 or 5 and then ds comes in at 8:30 to wake us up because he had Basketball practice at 10! 8o ( We live a whole 10 minutes from town!)

Dh took dss #1 & 2 to practice. The other 3 kids are supposed to be working on cleaning but they're not getting very much done.

I'm looking forward to them going back to school Monday (except for the getting up early part). I hope to get my house back in order a little bit when no one is home.

Nothing much on the agenda today. Have to go to the store later and maybe Church tonight.

Have a good weekend all!!

I ended up at Urgent Care with dks last night. Oldest ds has been saying his neck hurt since Tuesday. He acted like he slept on it wrong and would move really slow. No sore throat, no fever...then last night I see his glands on each side of his neck sticking out like Frankenstein nobs. 8o Looks like he has walnuts stored in there. :\ Took him in and the dr said it's probably viral, but because of the size wanted him on an antibiotic. Had to go thru the strep test, too just in case - ds was NOT happy about that, but he was a trooper. :)

We are going to my mom's later today for our last Christmas with my step sister and her family.

Very late start for me today. Made a big southern breakfast and started some Amish bread. Got the kitchen cleaned up. I'm going to try to go through the cabinets and closets in the laundry room and declutter those today, then its off to get groceries. I absolutely must get to school sometime today and get myself organized there before Monday.

Dh is dragging with his ear infection. He didn't eat much last night or this morning and is back on the couch. Nephew and ds are playing on the X-box.

Beautiful sunny day here. Should be in the upper 50's - no snow for us.

Isn't it amazing that you can actually be cooking your dinner, and be out enjoying the weather :)

No snow here yet, but we don't get snow every year around here. Sometimes we get a sno park pass and drive up to the mountains though. I'm working on my financial aide forms for next year (or at least that's what I should be doing). DH took the kids to the communtity center for Tae kwon do and trampoline. Those Community Centers certainly are a blessing. The school year around here could be as short as 140 days so I've been signing the kids up for as many things as I can.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Well, I got back from school at 6:00. I needed to go to the store, so dh said that he would drive me. When we got there, I got the stuff I needed and was standing in line, when in walked MIL. (Now everyone who knows what is going on might want to sit down for this one if you are not already) SHE SPOKE!!!! Of course she was really drunk, and that had a lot to do with it, but I couldn't believe it. When she walked in the door, she said hi to me. I politely said hi back and let it go at that. When she got her items and got in line, she told me to say hi to dh. I told her that I would, but that he was out in the truck. (I forgot that she didn't know we had a new one) She looked out the window and said oh, I didn't see it. I said oh we got a new one. Ya'll the look on her face made my night. (I know it is awful for gloating over this one and feeling the way that I do) She was so stunned, and then she said well that is nice. She asked me about the dog, and I told her Minnie was fine, and then I left.

What got me was she was so surprised that we were able to do something without their help. I thought it was funny. Like I said I feel awful for feeling that way, but I can't help it. Now I keep waiting for them to call since the first step has been made.

Believe me, I wanted to run. I also wanted to say, What, you are talking to me. I thought I was a spoiled B****, butI didn't have the guts to say that, and I was too stunned when she first spoke to run.

She hasn't called, so I don't know what is going to happen from here.

We have troubles with my mil, too, and it's sometimes unsettling not knowing when she'll "strike". :\ Hang in there!
