I am watching a friend's baby today and he is always SO crabby. It gets so wearing. :\ He'll cry and then as soon as I pick him up he's magically fine - I get nothing done when he is here. I have actually made up excuses a ton of times to not have to watch him - isn't that horrible. :( I feel bad, but if I flat out told her I wouldn't do it she'd be mad. Another gripe is that she pays everyone else who watches him - except me and she has so much as told me that. She'll tell me I can have him as many days a week as I "want" - to save her $$ and not have to pay her other friend. Anyway, that's my vent of the day.
Nothing else on our agenda for today. Dh had a game last night and got home late, so I hopefully he'll do bedtime with dks tonight and I can do my own thing. :)

I lost a day somewhere....
Went to bed Mon. night and about 1 AM all hell broke loose-- I started thowing up every fifteen mins. until dawn....... :\
I thought it would never end.
Spent yesterday on the couch trying not to move and hold down some jello - ususally, one of my least favorite foods.
Moving slowly today - just have a massive headache and my body is sore.
Time to go lay down - my back is so sore.... hate this sick thing.
Hope ya'll have a good day - whatever day it is! ;)

got a call last night that my Step Brother has to move his wedding up to this weekend, since he is shipping out soon...they didn't say when, but he has had all his shots...so instead of getting married on Jan. 18th he will be getting married this Saturday Jan. 11th at 12:00p.m....my step mother is a wreck...trying to get everyone called and reschedualed.....My brother is in a dissy because his son is in the wedding as the ring bearer...but he has his 40th Birthday party schedualed for Saturday because the wedding wasn't supposed to be until next weekend...he has people coming to his house....ARGH...I am staying out of it....going to just be where I need to be....:chicken: I just don't want to get in the middle....

Oh Ann....wish I could say something to help.....know we are here if you feel like talking...about anything...
Three of my dck's are not coming today, but that still leaves me with 4 though out the day. It's too cold to go out so I'm not too sure what we'll do...
Good TV tonight... Ed, The Bachlorette and then The Mole. (I haven't watched a whole season of the Mole yet, but I just might this time. Ds has basketball tonight too.
Jen- I hope you are feeling better soon!
(((Ann))) I hope everything is ok with your neighbor. Hopefully it just looks worse that it actually is...

Karla - not terrible at all for making excuses not to keep your friend's baby... I think I'd do the same! Pretty lame that she TOLD you she pays everyone but you for keeping him... sounds like it's time you "joined a club" or something to help with the excuses!!!
Jenn - oh how I'm feeling for you. The wounds from having that horrible, terrible virus are still fresh. Aaaccckkk At least you're over it... my friend in Canada said they closed some of the hospitals up there b/c it's so contagious... yikes!
Ann - so sorry. I wish I could make you feel better. You've definitely got my prayers. And I think about ya everyday, even if I'm not in touch.
Karla..I would tell her that she may no longer take advantage of you that way..she can either pay you or find other arrangments!

I know - I am such a big wuss. :nervous: Can you come and take care of things for me? :tinysmile You'd think she'd catch on to my lame ol' excuses all of the time - just how many times can we be sick or doing lunch with friends? LOL! The thing is her dd goes to ds's school so I run into her all of the time and can't really even avoid her. I told dh to NEVER answer the phone in the morning again. She always puts me on the spot and I never know what to say without making her mad. :\ Plus, she acts like it's such a treat for me to have him here - like she's "letting" me have him. Today I told her he was a big crab!

TGIW! Wednesday is always the hardest day to get past, and probably my least favorite day in the week! Hey, maybe that's a good topic starter, Karla...Least Favorites! I love reading responses to questions like your "favorites" thread!! Anyway...I've had a headache all day...probably due to this CRAZY weather. It was 55 degrees today...Unheard of here in WI in January. Tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 20's. Very odd. Looking forward to the Bachellorette tonight (it is tonight, right? ;) ) and vegging out on the couch.
{{{Ann}}}... sounds like an especially hard day today. Thinking of you.
{{{LittleSista}}}...get well soon
{{{everyone else}}}...:)

ROFL!! Do ya know where I could find a club like that - one that would help me out with excuses, let me b*tch freely, and support me? ?( ;)

Hope your headache goes away soon. :\ The weather has been crazy - yesterday we hit 58! 8o Supposed to be in the 20's tomorrow like you guys. The longer we go without snow the more I think I could do without it this year as I really would rather just get it over with now and not get dumped on late in Feb or March! ssh, don't tell Diane that I'm caving! ;)
Can't wait to see the Bachellorette show either and then we can all 'dish' about it! :D

Karla -
I believe the MOOT queen has spoken!!! Quite clearly! LOL I totally agree with AnnW, but I would still do it anyway... :\
Today I felt like I was in loading my baby in and out of the van all day to take my kids to and or from school. I didn't get much accomplished except for preparing Brichard's dinner. Oh well, the mess will still be there tomorrow!

Jen, sorry to hear that you are so sick. I hope you are feeling better tomorrow.
Ann (((((hugs))))) I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking about you. I know this is a very difficult time for you, but please remember that we are all here for you (((((hugs)))))
MaryL, now it's downhill. My Wed.s are made easier by the fact that it's my 2 break day: 30 minutes for GT and 45 for computer lab. Add 10 degrees to our weather and the outlook here is very similar.

Jen- hope you feel better soon, I heard that virus is horrible, they had limit vistors at our hospital because of it...
Tookk the baby in for his two months shots today, he did not like it at all. Poor little guy cried and cried, it broke my heart:(
Then came home and just relaxed then walked to pick up DS from the bus. A pretty easy day(I guess) see post onWhat else could go wrong?
Hope everyone had a good day, getting on here late tonight, right now it is 8:40pm but feels more like 11 for some reason.

:yippee: I KNEW you'd eventually see it my way! LOL :biglaugh: Honestly, this weather is unbelievable... I love it! I also hope we don't get dumped on... like we did at the end of winter last year, and then it just wouldn't go away. :( It was still pretty nice outside when I woke up this morning (Thursday)... I thought it would be a lot colder.

See, that's why I just want the snow now - to get it over with. LOL! It's VERY windy here today. Youngest ds came into bed with me at 6:30 and said he was scared. I dread going out today, but at least snow won't be blowing in my face! :biglaugh:

I know. :\
This is a person who was in my face this summer if she called and I wasn't home because they wanted to come and swim in our pool. Or if she calls and doesn't leave a msg will let me hear it for not automatically calling her back when I see her on caller id. She'll call and snottily say, "Don't you return your calls?" To which I have replied, "Well, you didn't leave a message..." I know I need to stand up to her...just don't always do so well with that when I dread the reaction. :(
