I haven't had a chance to post much. Even though I had a month off in between December 6th and January 6th it just seemed like the time flew by. I had the week vacation to Gulf Shores and in between the job hunt and the holidays I haven't checked in much. I also loathe our new dial-up connection. Oh how I miss our cable modem! :bawling:
I LOVE my new job. I really enjoyed working for the small ISP, but working for WCOM the last six months was brutal. I just feel like I belong here. I am relying on every one of my past jobs to help me with this new one and it is great!
I'll try not to be as much of a stranger. I'm working on my never ending campaign to trim down, so I'm sure I'll be on the Fitness boards. Since Oprah's book with Bob Greene was my original inspiration to lose I'm really glad she is back in the routine. It provides good motivation for me.
Angie has kept me posted on the hot topics and I just wanted to tell Ann W. that she has been in our prayers. I am so sorry for your loss.
I don't think I'll have as much free time here as in other jobs but I'll stop by when I can! I hope you have a great 2003!
Thanks. What are you doing now?
I thought of you at the end of the Enron movie Sunday night, when they were doing a sort of "where are they now" and one of the characters "was going to be ok cause he got a great job with WorldCom"! LOL

LOL Ann! I couldn't watch that movie b/c it was too much reality for me!
I am a National Account Manager for a distributor of wireless products here in Indiana. This is one of the largest distributors in the world. Basically my job is to take care of the clients needs. We ship out all of their phones worldwide and I make sure they have the right quantity, check on damages, etc. This is more of a logistics type position, but there are presentations and contact with the customer which will let me rely on my sales skills. Even my FedEx experience is helpful b/c we ship so many items.
Sounds great!
The movie was actually pretty good and fairly accurate. I thought they did a good job of explaining the whole thing. I got tickled cause some of the talking heads here kept saying it made Houstonians look greedy and we were like "no, it made the Enron employees look greedy" and most of them were! LOL We had several in this neighborhood so I saw how they leveraged themselves.
