Hurray it's Saturday. I was so excited to sleep in today, but I guess we forgot to tell Bailey that it was the weekend, because she woke up really early barking. Thankfully (and surprisingly ;) ) dh got out of bed and let her outside.
Went to see a really good movie last night with my friend..."Catch Me If You Can" . It is definately worth seeing.
My mom just phoned and offered to babysit for the dks tonight. Yippee :yippee: looks like dh and I get to go out tonight.
No pressing plans today (except for hockey practices), and preparing for my camp meeting tomorrow (which I am helping to run).
What's up with you guys?

Morning All!
I've got nothing planned for today...we'll have to see how the day goes...My sinus are acting up....ended up doing nothing yesterday except laying around.
May try to organize since I did none yesterday....lol.
Hope ya all have a great day!
No sleeping in here, ds had to be at work by 7, dh and dd by 9.
I did a cake this morning and now it's off to gym for 3 hours, then a short break and I have a gymnastics birthday party to do right after that - who said weekends are suppose to be relaxing!!!
I don't mind the 5 hours I'll be spending in the gym it's just that I have to leave the house to get there and it's -29 this morning brrrrr.
Well, have a good day all!
Oh I agree about the weekends supposed to be relaxing Fern...YIKES
What kind of cake did you make...dd is bugging me ever since she saw the Teapot one :) you do great work.
We have a Wedding at 12....my Step brother is getting married today...they were oringinally getting married next weekend...but the Marnie corp...told him to move it up...he is shipping out soon :(
on top of that we have a birthday dinner tonight...so after the wedding, we are back here to change the kids, and head off to my girlfriends....dropp the kids off and to dinner with my brother and his pals.....
I am beat....still have to wrap the gift...shower myself and the kids....get dressed...and stop at Payless and get my ds some black shoes....I mean this kid has black shoes.....but they don't fit...yet again....man...he is growing like a weed...
I am off to fold the last of the laundry and get this party started....LOL...
My kids are like little zombie in from of the TV this morning...we got our DISH fixed and they really missed Nick
have a great day all..

Not much going on today. Dh had Physical Therapy at 9:30 this morning and ds #1 had a free throw contest. They'll probably be back around dinnertime.
We'll probably straighten up the house and do a lot of nothing today. We have church tonite because dh bowls with the traveling league tomorrow.
Have a good day all!!
Woke up at 9:00. Did a bit of baking, but that sure is not my forte. Did some dishes. Dusted and Swiffered our bedroom and swept the kitchen floor. Vacuumed at the front entrance...salt and sand and all kinds of good stuff congregate there. Need to fold a load of laundry I started when I first got up. I am going to call my cousin who came here from Victoria, BC for her father's funeral last week. It will be nice to get together, but I'm sorry it's under these circumstances that she's home. She did come back breifly just before Christmas, so she did get to see him before he passed away.
Marla, enjoy your evening out with dh
Vea, good luck getting organized
Fern, have fun at the gym
Renee, enjoy the wedding and dinner...sounds like a full day ahead of you
Linda, enjoy "doing alot of nothing today"...we all need that sometimes.

You should go. It'd be good for you. Get out and do some laughing. GO! (though I completely understand why if you decided not to)
I'll take a box of Samoas and 20 boxes of the peanut butter ones!!! Good thing I rarely get hit up for GS cookies, eh?!!!

Ann, what great kids you have; feeding the homeless and selling girl scout cookies :)
Although you might not feel up to going out, it probably would be good to get out for a little bit...maybe even just join them for dinner or something.

Oldest ds has the flu - felt sick last night and woke up early this morning running to the bathroom. He is acting fine right now, so we'll see how the day goes. I am hoping the rest of us don't get it.
Renee - Have fun!! Congrats to your brother! :* Will keep him in my prayers when he is deployed. :(
Ann - Try to go out! :tinysmile
Ann, it would be good for you to have a night out. IMHO I think you should go.
I got up early and did a couple hours worth of ironing. Just finished lunch for ds and my nephew. Dh had to work this morning and is now outside taking down the Christmas lights. I guess that means I should take down the tree. Uggghhhh!
I have to make the dreaded grocery run after while. Then I think I'm going to try to cook for the week since it will be a busy one. I'm tired of all the fast food we've been eating. Going to try to eat more at home. It's just that cooking at the end of a work day is hard.

Hi all. Just finished cleaning the house (at least as much as I want to do today). Gotta run to town in a bit to put up posters for our annual Robbie Burns night coming up on the 25th.
Trying to convince the kids to get their homework done  .
Snapping cold here.....-32C this morning! Let's not even factor in the wind chill! :frosty:
Think we are going out tonight with friends...movie and then munchies.
Have a great day all.

Well, aren't you all busy little beavers today!! I woke up on the couch this morning with a stiff neck. Brichard took the kids to the library, then he went to play basketball. I cleaned the turtle tank. Big fun!
That's the excitement here today. :yippee:

Spent the day @ the Science Museum w/my Brownies.
Dd has had her shower, we're doing pizza for dinner, and then off to an early bedtime (unless I get the energy to go rent a movie).
