That is our three stops on the cross country trip from hell. LOL

Any one live near:
Junction City, KS
Cloverdale, IN
or Erie, PA

I may look fairly haggard on these overnight stops, but willing to meet up with people, if they are willing to drive to me! LOL

Ok...maybe I wasn't paying attention...

You bought a house in NY right? Is this trip your move there? What part of NY are you moving to?

Hope it all goes smoothly!!!!!!!!

Thanks Vea-yep the big trip in February is our moving trip. We have two moving trucks and car carriers, 2 kids and a dog to drive along for 3 1/2 days. Should be interesting!LOL

We bought a house outside of Rochester, NY. I'll be able to visit the Ontario girls soon! LOL

Has anyone been to Canada's Wonderland lately? We used to go there every year when I was in highschool. Is it still really fun? How about the drive through safari? I'm already planning summer trips!! One more-is there still the festival of light show in Niagra Falls, Canada side at Christmas? Need to freshen up on my memories!

And I for one, can't wait for you to be closer! I LOVE Canada's Wonderland...maybe we could do a family/summer trip there. It has expanded lik eyou wouldn't believe! Yes, the festival of lights is on at Niagara Falls, Canada. I think it runs til the middle of January, so you'll have plenty of time to see it next year. Maybe we could do family/new years eve trip there. I'm full of idea, lol. Happy travelling!

I took dds to Wonderland a few years back. We enjoyed it. I'm not a ride person, but they loved the variety of thrill rides.

Amy/CO- I'll give you a couple of weeks to settle in, then we'll have to set up a visit. I've been sort of out of touch here. I feel like things are moving tooooo quickly. Seems like you were just looking....and now it's almost time! Yikes.

Amy - We'd love to meet you even if you won't come for a sleep over.

Angie and Jeff-dh picked Cloverdale because there is a Motel 6 there and approximately 9 hours from our previous stop. We are Motel 6ing it all the way across the country because they allow dogs. I'm up for meeting!!!

I think a trip to Canada's Wonderland for a reunion would be a hoot! Can someone tell me if the safari is still around? Its the kind that you take your own car through and the monkeys jump your car. LOL

Canada's Wonderland is a nice place but be advisd bring your walking shoes and plenty of water. We decided to venture through it this past summer while I was 8 months pregnant. OMG It was ever so hot out. Plus it is so far between some attractions. I guess I was miserable being so hot and big. It's nice there though.DD cried when the whale splahed her twice. LOL
I didn't think they would be doing the festival of lights anymore since the casino opened up on the american side. Maybe they will have it on the canadian side. The Canadian side is a whole lot nicer just to let you know. It's nice to go to Clifton Hill in the summer. So much to do. Boy I miss home sometimes...We will be back again for dd's 1st birthday in the 2nd week of sept..Good luck on your trip.Everything will go well.....NIC

???? Nic, I am a little confused by your post. I live about 15 minutes from Canada's Wonderland....there is no American side to it. Are you confusing it with Niagara Falls?

I believe her first paragraph was referring to Wonderland and her second paragraph to Niagara Falls.
