Morning all,

I woke to a terrible headache. I have taken two tynelol.

I plan on doing my nails, reading, knitting and Church services.


I have a roast thrawed out in the fridge. What a great day it will be!!!


Shall I say a day of rest!!!!

Dh and I went out for dinner last night...to three different places :rolleyes: . What can I say...he likes to restaurant hope :lol: Started out at a lounge in a hotel for appetizers and a drink, then off to a steak house for main meal, and then on the way home he said he was hungry, so he stopped and picked up a piece of pizza :biglaugh:

I have to get ready to go soon as I have an all day camp meeting today. Looks like I'm gonna miss youngest ds's hockey game today :( and I'm not sure about oldest ds's.

went out with my girl friends last night, it was fun..drank too much wine so now I have a pounding head.
it's rainy and yucky here. need to get some snacks for ds' youth group tonite and go to home depot to get a new light fixture for the garage..such an exciting day planned! LOL

We;re going to celebrate my nephew's birthday today - should be fun, but I am hoping to get back by early evening.

Not to much planned today...A friend and I are going to the movies this afternoon...we want to see either Gangs of New york or Maid in Manhattan...wow there's a theme there...LOL.

I got some organizing done yesterday...buut I'm sore today...guess my back ain't strong enough for that yet.

Marla~Leave it to the men to be hungry after a full meal...LOL.

Not much on today. Dh and ds picked me up after ds's hockey game and we went out for breakfast. Later today I want to stop by one of my sister's to take over some stuff my nephew left at our place last weekend. Found out yesterday one of my nieces is expecting. I am so excited for her. We haven't had a baby in our family in over 5 years!

Morning all....had fun at my step brothers wedding...it was nice...I had forgotten how long Catholic services are though 1 and 1/2 hours.....of kneeling, standing, sitting...:lol: kids were well behaved....we had a nice visit...

Then off to my brother big dinner party....was kinda weird because I didn't know a lot of his friends....since we haven't been in the same state for over 10 years....I did see some friends of his he has had since childhood...that was fun....dh and I just started talking and introducing ourselves to people where we were sitting....they were all really fun and nice....I am sure my brother had a great time...he drank a little too much...but hey...it was his 40th b-day.

Off to a five year olds birthday party today...I said I would stay and help, even show up early...its my best friend and she needs some help....no biggy...HARRY POTTER themed...should be interesting....

Morning all.... or should I say Almost afternoon, all! LOL
Nothing much planned today... dd and I are making cookies...mmmm! Oatmeal raisin. Didn't do the laundry yesterday, so I guess I've gotta do it today... yuck! :{
Oh well! Think a friend may be stopping by... other than that... to bed early tonight... have to be up and working at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow... ugh! It's all I can do to get up by 8 most mornings! Not looking forward to it! But... at least I can do it from home and lay back down for a while afterwards! I'll be in no hurry to get into the office, if I even make it in at all! :lol:

Well it is afternoon here, and just checking in to see what everyone has been doing. Sounds like some people had a good time last night, I always hate the next morning though, LOL.Well, I have really been busy, getting a room ready for the new grand baby, and her parents of course. My ds has not found a job yet and the baby is due any day. His girlfriend is 4 cinameters dilated but NO baby yet!!!!!!I guess it will come when it is ready, as they say. I just wish the baby would hurry I am really getting excited. Well back to work tomorrow:(

Ann I am so glad you decided to go out!!

Today I went to church and then to my in-laws for lunch. I brought my own lunch and prepared it there. The new lifestyle of eating is going well!

So, that in a nutshell is my day. LOL

Hi all. Wow I thought yesterday was cold.....even worse today/night. Maybe this snap will knock off all the flus going around though.

Stayed inside as much as possible. Read Micheal J. Fox's book "Lucky Man". I really enjoyed it. Started another book just before supper...one from the school library...wanted to see if I would recommend it to the pre teen girls to read.

Just getting the kids through the tub and then taking it easy for the rest of the evening.

Well...the flu has arrived at our house, and I certainly hope it's a very short visit!!!!8o :( Ds1 was sick last night...and dragged around all day today. Even took a nap! 8o Phew...he must be sick! I didn't feel 100%, either. Hoping it was just a touch of the flu, and now I'm done. REALLY REALLY hoping that ds2 doesn't get it, as it totally aggrevates his asthma, which is a pain for him...and us! So, kind of a lazy Sunday for my family. I guess the flu shot didn't help us avoid this particular "strain"...dks and I had shots this year. Bummer.

I spent the weekend cleaning and got almost ALL the laundry done! A first for me! :) Feels great.

I'm a little and nervous about tomorrow- I have a new dck starting. A 6 week old baby girl! 8o I can not wait!!! :D I let you know how it goes.

Just wanted to check in and see what's doing on since I didn't get on the computer this weekend.

Good luck with your new dck! I HATE starting new ones... you never quite know what they're going to be like. Hope it's good. :)
