She's Free!!

I'm not sure if any of you have heard about the 17 year old Kearney, NE girl who was abducted last Friday from the Mall in Kearney. She was found overnight, unharmed, and they have the abducter in custody. Below is a link to the story. It made all of us kind of nervous. Kearney is where I go to class and I have often stopped at Walmart (right next to the Mall) after class. It was sometimes midnight when I left the parking lot. It's scary to think of this happening in our neck of the woods.

Anyway, just wanted to share the good news!! :)

:yippee: Yippee... I'm glad that they finally caught him!!! I know that when they were looking for him around here (and the Mall of America) my dd was VERY nervous about going out... She had helicoptor's flying over her apt., police and canine units were in her neighborhood... they were searching and warning everybody to stay inside with their doors locked. She had left her garage door open and was afraid to go in to get in her car so she could come here for the night... and she had to have a police officer check it out before she went in. 8o What a relief it must be to her and her family! I'm so happy to hear that everything turned out okay! :)

SO glad the girl is okay. I also remember seeing him on the news here recently when they were looking for him. SO glad they caught him!!!!!!!!
