Spring!!

With all the whining that I've done over the last 2 months about the disgusting and depressing weather here in the frozen north, I now feel compelled to let you all know--IT'S SPRING! It's about 73 and actually sunny today. I've been explaining to both my students and dd's that that yellow thing is the sun, and it's friendly. My poor preschoolers don't really remember what warm weather is. Of course dd's realize this means (you guessed it) "we need new clothes!!" Whatever the downside, (and I'm really not sure there is one--who doesn't get a little sick of wearing your body weight in clothing to bed?) I'm psyched to see blue sky. It's a cause for major celebration!!!:happydnc:

Oh yes, and next week is Spring Break--Does life get any better?? :yippee:

LOL... I'm glad you're enjoying your SPRING weather! I wish it would get up to 73 here. I think so far our nicest day has only been about 50 or 52... I'm patiently waiting for some nicer weather. We've had WAY too much rain lately. The sun actually showed itself today for a little while but now I heard it's suppose to rain again tomorrow through next Tuesday... with winds up to 55 MPH on Saturday. :( For once I hope their wrong. I had hoped we'd have a nice Easter. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Enjoy your nice weather!!!

But get this! It SNOWED on Tuesday!!!! :oO It's some bizarre weather phenomenon because today it's sunny shorts weather again! Go figure. I never have understood Arizona's weather. It's already hit 90 in Phoenix and mid 80's here and then we go and have snow for crying out loud! :0D

Well, that blows my trip to the Mall of America this saturday then doesn't it!!! No flying in that kind of wind. :(

Yippee! Spring is here. More like summer temps. yesterday and not too bad today. The best part, my ROBINS have finally shown up. Saw one last week while I was in the hosp. but this AM there were about 15 in my back yard singing their little hearts out at 6:00am.
I love this time of year even if it kills my allergies big time.

Wow... what wierd weather! LOL Did you get any accumulation? I'm sure if you did it didn't last very long... not with 80 degree weather! :) LOL I just want to get some nice/warm weather and have it STAY that way. LOL Now I'm hearing that it might actually hit 60 tomorrow... That will really be nice if it does. Anyway, I hope we've all seen the end of our snow... enough already! :)
